Today we launch a brand new game mode; Gauntlet Mode is all about seed-value based generated levels.
You can randomize the seed to play different levels. Returning to a level is simply a matter of typing in the same seed value! Seeds are simple text strings that look like this 24-LOL
We hope to get your feedback on Gauntlet Mode so we can tune the system to generate a large variety of levels. Let us know what you think on the Discussion Boards.
This update also adds unlockable skins for Weldon. Our next big feature update will be someone special, have your headsets ready :) Enjoy!

This update was originally planned for last week, however I did not want to update amongst all the major AAA launches.
Therefore Unlockable Skins and the v1 of Gauntlet Mode will go live this week!
Once Gauntlet Mode is live, we'd love to get your feedback on the discussion boards so we can tune it to be something special.

Fellow Tinertia Fans, We've been working hard on upgrading your rocket jumping experience and here's what to expect in the Version 2.0.0 Update dropping this month:
- Tinertia has been massively upgraded: This means shiny new graphics, updated lighting, and better performance!
- Better Physics: The new Physics has some key improvements for example: wall-sliding is much smoother, and shooting off of floors & ceilings will now be very consistent. This will lead to some faster speed-runs :D
- We've tweaked some levels that spiked the difficulty curve in Worlds 2 & 3.
- We plan to reset the leaderboards to allow people to compete with the new improved physics.
- Our work on optimizing for consoles has made it to the PC version. This means better framerates with better graphics!
- Tinertia will now support higher resolutions like 2k & 4k.
- Major bug fixes for replays ( especially ARC boss ). Replays will now be very consistent with the playthrough.

I just wanted to update the community on some recent happenings. I had to stop all development on Tinertia for a few months due to a conflict with our previous publisher. Suffice to say that's all behind us now. We're now working on a major update ( upgrading the game engine ) that will bring visual and performance improvements. We're also working on goodies that you can unlock with Time and Par medals. As always we love to hear from the community about anything Tinertia. Feels great to be back, stay tuned :D - vkidd

Just wanted to update the community on an issue with Xbox One controllers on Windows 10. If you're noticing strange input behavior ( eg. left stick and DPads constantly pushing left ) the issue is caused by the new Windows 10 driver for the controller. Tinertia is not the only game affected by this and we're working to get a fix asap. The interim solution to get this working is to revert the controller driver to the Windows 8.1 version. You can find it here Optionally you can also use Xbox360, DS4, DS3 or Logitech controllers. Check out the Controller Discussion for more details.

66 levels. 7 bosses. Lots of fist pumping victories. Check out the launch trailer here. After a year in early access Tinertia is finally ready for prime time! We'd like to thank all the players who helped us build this explosive platformer. All the feedback on forums, playtests on twitch, and leaderboard rumbles have helped Tinertia become what it is today. The game is launched, but we're not finished yet. Expect a few more features to keep Tinertia fresh and better than ever. For now get out there, show the ARC who's boss, and save Weldon! -Candescent Games
