Welcome to another class guide, today we'll talk about Wyvia's dedicated marksman and ranged monster slayer, the Hunter. They can utilize a variety skills to deliver punishing ranged damage and live off the land. Hunters can use cannons, bows, and throwing knives to fire projectiles. As a subclass of the Wayfarer they use medium armor along with pouches that provide additional ranged damage when standing still for set periods of time.
THE HUNTER
The Hunter is an advanced physical ranged damage dealer with a variety of utility skills to provide direct damage and more indirect forms of damage. Hunters can employ skills such as Dart which hits an enemy with a projectile that erupts into a poison cloud, Trap which leaves a landmine that explodes on contact, and Bandolier which give the hunter limited supercharged ammo that can hit enemies dealing extra damage. As a subclass of the Wayfarer it synergies well with those skills, especially Scavenger which in addition to granting extra resources also grants a portion of health as healing. The pouches they utilize also gain defensive benefits in addition to the ranged damage they provide, and unlike other classes Hunters can commune with familiars more easily increasing their benefits and can use two at a time.
SKILLS
Dart
The first skill available to hunters is dart. This let's the hunter deliver poison to whatever enemy it hits. When the dart is upgraded it can impart weaken which lowers the damage of the enemy and makes them more susceptible to damage. In addition it stuns the enemy with dizzy for 20 seconds. It also creates a poison cloud that lingers for a long period of time. Trap
The next skill in a Hunter's holster is Trap, essentially a landmine that creates an explosion take converts ranged attack into damage. When fully upgraded with Better Trap the explosion created splinters into a clusterbombs that convert into a percentage of damage and creates bigger cluster explosions. This skill is perfect for laying ambushes for unsuspecting enemies and creating some breathing room between you and the enemy. Bandolier
Hunters specialize in precise burst DPS to help them take down large monsters like Elites and Bosses. Bandolier is the final skill in the Hunter's arsenal this gives the Hunter 10 rounds of highly specialized ammunition that delivers extra damage for a percentage of ranged attack as extra damage to the nearest enemy expending a round. When upgraded with Better Bandolier it grants additional maximum ammo and grants 5 extra on use when maxed. Upgrading Extra Bandolier grants a chance for 2 extra sniping shots to fire in random directions and when fully maxed out sniping shots are always critical damage.

Welcome to the class guide series, today we'll be learning about Wyvia's monster master, the Summoner. Able to command a horde of monsters, Summoners aren't defenseless and can employ magic of their own in addition to their menagerie. Summoners can use staffs, magic paintbrushes, and tomes to cast spells. As a subclass of the Wizard they use light armor along with orbs that provide additional magic damage for every percentage of mana missing, they also utilize laterns for defensive magic bonuses.
THE SUMMONER
The Summoner is the minion class able to call incredibly destructive monsters capable of unleashing untold power, weakening other monsters, or providing screening so the summoner can employ spells. The Summoner's skills include Goopsummon which calls forth a horde of goopies to do your bidding, Overlord which summons ethereal guardians that weaken enemies, and Obsidoth which can unleash a hellish torrent of magical energy that may even hurt you. As an advanced class of the Wizard means that many of those skills complement the Summoner and takes full advantage of Chill enhancing it with Ghostly Chill, which will summon Ghost Wizards dealing a percentage of your magical attack as damage and have a percentage of your maximum mana as their health. When fully enhanced they pelt enemies with bursts of fireballs.
SKILLS
Goopsummon
Summoners first summon is the lowly goopy but unlike regular goopies, these loyal creatures are much more powerful enhanced by the summoner's skills they can fire much further in addition to dealing more damage. When fully upgraded their damage orbs pierce enemies and bounce around dealing even more damage. Overlord
Overlords are the next guardians a summoner can call forth. These shadowy ethereal creatures do not do damage directly but instead make it much easier for enemy monsters to take damage and weakens their attacks against the summoner. When fully upgraded they are also capable of silencing enemy spellcasters keeping them from launching their own spells. Obsidioth
The final summon available to these monster wranglers is the great black wyvern of destruction, Obsidioth, when cast it will appear high above the battlefield. This spell is only used in the most dire of circumstances as it is capable of indiscriminately levelling the battlefield in magical energy. Even the summoner itself is not safe from the magical energy. Only when fully upgraded there is a chance that damage will be negated entirely and if not heavily reduced. Obsidioth is far too powerful to be under the control of one summoner and as such does not count as a minion.

Welcome to another chapter in the class guide series, today we'll be learning about the Ninja. Shadowy warriors who utilize subterfuge to deliver blistering attacks. Ninjas are an advanced class focused on offensive ranged combat with some sneaky abilities. Ninjas can use ranged weapons such as Cannons, Throwing Knives, Bows. They use light and medium armor along with pouches that provide additional ranged damage when standing still.
THE NINJA
The Ninja is the stealth class capable of traversing the battlefield quickly delivering fatal blows, as such it is intently focused on offensive abilities. The Ninja's skills include Flicker which allows you teleport from enemy to enemy delivering a blow, Ninjarang which riddle the enemy with sharp shurikens, and Double which summons a doppleganger that mimics your actions. Being an advanced class of the Wayfarer means that many of those skills complement the Ninja and takes full advantage of Sleep Particles to make them deal poison damage to enemies while not awakening them. Allowing a ninja to dash in flicker through a group of enemies, and then put to sleep the ones that survive poisoning them gaining additional XP if they die from the poison.
SKILLS
Flicker
Ninjas are renown for their quick speed and lightning reflexes so when they flicker they combine that deadly speed to delivering deadly blows as they almost teleport from enemy to enemy. When upgraded Ninjas also throw Ninjarangs at enemies nearby delivering both close range and long range punishment. Ninjarang
Shurikens are often synonymous with Ninjas but the ninjas of Wyvia differ in that their shurikens almost magically bounce off walls. Ninjarang allows the Ninja to throw a large star that bounces off walls. When upgraded it translates more ranged attack into damage and when suprcharged with Better Ninjarang it can bounce between enemies even exploding when landing dealing 50% of damage at max level. Double
The last skill in a Ninja's arsenal is the ability to conjure a double out of thin air. This doppleganger takes on the same weapons and skills as the original but remains stationary doing only a portion of your damage. When upgraded with Better Double and Perfect Double it will begin to follow the Ninja and even use the same skills for a higher mana cost. The double will disappear after a time but rarely does an enemy live long enough to see.

The newest entry of the class guide is here and we'll talking about the Bishop, Wyvia's holy class. Bishops are an advanced class focused on defensive ranged magic capable of using ranged weapons such as Cannons, Paintbrushes, Magic Staffs, and light armor along with Laterns that provide magic defense.
THE Bishop
The Bishop is the holy class capable of smiting enemies with holy retribution but primarily defensively focused. The Bishop's defensive skills include Heal which will restore your health, Ward which provides magical protection from spells, and in times of great peril Rays which scorches the earth around them doing massive damage to a wide area. Being an advanced class of the Wizard means that many of those skills complement the Bishop and takes full advantage of the Surge orbs to make them explode when they collide with one another dishing out a portion of your magical energy as damage. This can be a dangerous combination to your foes particularly with Rays as you envelope the enemy in magical power.
SKILLS
Heal
Heal is an excellent support skill particularly if you combine it with another class that places you in perilous situations often. Bishops are capable of healing a portion of their health with each cast making them incredibly difficult to dislodge especially when using Ward. However it's important to keep an eye on your mana as it can drain rather quickly. The health recovered is based on your maximum mana rather than your current mana. Ward
Bishops are known be paragons of holy energy, whereas the Knight uses that to infuse their offensive power Bishops take the opposite tack and use it bolster their defenses particularly against magical enemies. If you find yourself encounter a large amount of mages or magical monsters the Bishop's Ward will let you weather the storm unaffected. You are effectively invulnerable to magical attacks until the bubble pops and it uses your maximum mana to form it's protective barrier. When upgraded having ward active can act as a focal point for your damage increasing it or a chance of unleashing a destructive wave of energy when magic strikes its surface. Rays
The most destructive skill in a Bishop's catalogue is Rays. Able to call down holy bolts of energy from the sky above this magical attack envelopes the battlefield in a swath of holy energy. Perfect for clearing out large groups of enemies, when upgraded Rays has a small chance to cause any bolt that strikes enemies to explode in an explosion of magical energy. This can be a double whammy when paired with Surge hitting enemies in land and air.

The newest entry of the class guide is here and we'll talking about the Barbarian, Wyvia's very own beserker class. Barbarians are an advanced class focused on offensive close combat capable of using Two handed weapons in one hand like Swords, Shields, Axes and heavy armor.
THE Barbarian
The Barbarian is the maurder focused on getting in enemies faces and then promptly ripping them off, capable of using heavy armor and heavy weapons with a shield. The Barbarian has a variety of offensively minded skills such as Yell which scares and weakens enemies, Whirlwind which turns them into a spinning dervish of pain, and Earthquake which smashes the ground around them doing massive damage. Being an advanced class of the warrior means that many of those skills synergize well with the Barbarian and takes full advantage of the Offensive stance to dish out pain at the cost of making themselves vulnerable. Sometimes the best defense is an all-out offense.
SKILLS
Yell
Barbarians place martial prowess above all and to that end, the closest they get to a ranged skill is ironically their voice. Capable of bellowing out a fearsome warcry is often enough to send monsters scurrying and so fearful that they fail to protect themselves. When upgraded it's even capable of setting enemies on fire and making them explode when they die while on fire. Proof that not even distance is enough to save you from a Barbarian when in screaming range. Quake
When truly angered and surrounded it said that Barbarians are capable of shaking the very world itself sending huge boulders into the sky alongside any enemies that are foolish enough to surround them. When upgraded more of their raw strength is translated into the stomp making it much more powerful and larger than before. Whirlwind
The final skill granted to Barbarians is ability to spin at high speeds while swinging their weapons. This effectively turns them into a blender of destruction as they rip through enemy ranks slashing them to ribbons. This becomes incredibly deadly if the weapon is a ranged weapon spitting out projectiles in addition to dealing melee damage. When upgraded you can spin faster and for longer turning into a twister of destruction.

The newest entry of the class guide is here and we'll talking about the Knight, Wyvia's defensive melee class. Knights are an advanced class focused on defensive close combat capable of using Swords, Shields, Axes and heavy armor.
THE KNIGHT
The Knight is the archetypal knight in shining armor in Wyvia, outfitted with heavy armor and a variety of heavy weapons. The knight can utilize bubbles of holy magic to become invincible, grow to giant size to stomp enemies, and bash enemies to dizzy them to while going in for the kill. Being an advanced class of the warrior means that many of those skills synergize well with the Knight and takes full advantage of the Defensive stance to protect himself effectively while weathering extreme punishment.
SKILLS
Guard
Knights are defensive first and foremost, nothing exemplifies this better than Guard. Basked in a holy bubble the Knight is virtually invincible to a point. The bubble will burst after taking so much damage approximately a percentage of your maximum health. You can buff up the bubble with Better Guard which will create a explosion whenever you take physical damage dealing a percentage of your health as damage. Bash
While knights are primarily defensive in nature sometimes the best defense is a strong offensive. Capable of calling on Holy powers Knights can manifest a shield of holy light that shoots out a short distance doing a percentage of your maximum health as damage. When upgraded it will also daze enemies for a short period of time. Giant
The last skill in a Knight's arsenal is possibly it's most dangerous and most easily understood. When tasked with an impossible situation Knights can infuse their bodies with holy essence growing to massive proportions this allows them to use their crushing weight to smash enemies to pieces or bump them out of the way using your maximum health as a percentage of damage. When sufficiently upgraded you can deal much more damage while simultaneously taking less damage, instantly killing smaller enemies, and even gaining extra XP.

Hey all, We know we've been super tight lipped about release date but no more, on October 18th, 2023 Wyvia will unleash for $9,99 USD! Watch the release date trailer on Youtube: [previewyoutube=nfTa0OQ4it8;full][/previewyoutube] We're thrilled to share the news and for all of you to get in the game and see all that we've been working on. We know that its been hard waiting but we appreciate your patience and understanding. We'll have a new class guide this weekend and look forward to showing you more parts of the game as we get closer to the release date.
The newest entry of the class guide is here and we'll talking about the Wayfarer, Wyvia's first very own Robin Hood. Wayfarers are the first dexterity focused class in Wyvia capable of using Bows, Cannons, and Throwing Knives.
THE WAYFARER
The wayfarer is the archetypal rogue in Wyvia, capable of using tricky skills like Hide to turn invisible, Particles to put enemies to sleep, or Scavenge to find useful items. Unlike the tough Warrior and the destructive Wizard, the Wayfarer relies on mostly their speed, a withering hail of projectiles, and situational skills to escape harm and deal damage. Like all classes maxing out a skill lets you cross-skill into another class to let you mix-n-match your skills.
SKILLS
Particles
When ambushing enemies, or escaping harm the first and arguably most important skill in a Wayfarer's arensal of skills is Particles. Launch a wave of sleeping powder at enemies knocking them out for a set amount of time. Attacking enemies while they're sleeping will wake them but it will allow you to escape or better reposition for a more advantageous attack. Be careful as some enemies are immune to sleep. Scavenge
The next skill in a Wayfarer's repertoire is Scavenge. Unlike other classes, the Wayfarer can see the lay of the land and discover valuable resources. Scavenge allows the Wayfarer to search the local area and find an item. Don't use this without making sure the area is clear as you;re vulnerable to attack while scavenge. Hide
Now you see me, now you don't. Hide lets you disappear into thin air making enemies lose track of you. This skill is great for getting out of tricky situations. You are still vulnerable to attacks by enemies while under the cloak of invisibility so take care. Taking damage, using an attack, or a skill will break the invisibility and will disappear after so much time.

Hey all the next installment of the class guide is here and today we'll talking about the Wizard, Wyvia's first magic user. Wizards are bedrock magic class capable of raining ranged magical attacks lay down the hurt utilizing the destructrive power of staffs, defensive glyphs of brushes, or ranged fury of tomes.
THE WIZARD
The wizard is the archetypal mage in Wyvia, capable of launching devastating AOE spells and defensive magic to allow you to escape unscathed. Unlike the tough Warrior and the agile Wayfarer, the Wizard relies on mostly destructive magic to annihilate their foes from a distance and over a wide area. Like all classes maxing out a skill lets you cross-skill into another class to let you mix-n-match your skills.
SKILLS
Chill
The first of the Wizard's spells is more of a defensive/support skill designed to either get you out of a pickle or lock down enemies so you can follow up with more intense attacks. Chill is a stream of freezing cold air that greatly slows enemies for a few seconds. Be warned they can still attack so don't let your guard down but this can save your butt in a pinch from a charging enemy or let you get up close and personal to deliver a deadly volley of spells. Surge
You wouldn't be much of a wizard if you didn't shoot balls of lightning from your fingertips and Surge has you covered. Allowing you to fire off a ring of electric orbs in a circle around you. Part of your magical attack is converted into magical damage for each orb. This is a great spell to clear out a large group of enemies really quickly but watch your mana as it can burn through it quickly. Explosions
The last spell in every Wizard's arsenal is known as Explosions and you can pretty much guess what that does. This allows you to launch a series of ripples of explosive magic in close proximity to the Wizard causing large amounts of damage. This literally turns you into the bomb converting almost all of your magical attack into damage but this powerful spell requires you to get right into the face of your enemies making you the cannon part of a glass cannon.

Hey all the next installment of the class guide is here and today we'll talking about the Warrior better known as the beat stick in Wyvia. Warriors are careful combatants capable of switching stances that give them the killer edge in battle and are masters of knowing when to press the advantage in melee combat.
THE WARRIOR
The warrior is the quintessential melee class in Wyvia, but the warrior is no slouch compared to his spell and projectile slinging compatriots. Outfitted with a series of stances the Warrior is a versatile class that can respond to threats on your own terms. Coupled with heavy weapons and armor it can be a tough nut to crack. Like all classes maxing out a skill lets you cross-skill into another class to let you mix-n-match your skills.
SKILLS
Offensive
The first skill in the Warrior's repertoire is Offensive, this skill is for the daredevils out there who like to live on a razor's edge. When you take this stance, you can deal much more damage in exchange for for taking more damage. This pairs nicely with fast striking weapons like swords where you can reposition quickly or if you enjoy alpha striking. Like all stances only one can be active at a time. Defensive
Sometimes taking a beating is a necessary part of adventuring, doesn't mean you have to make it easy. The second stance available to Warriors is Defensive, this stance allows you to take much more punishment at the expense of your damage output. This is especially help when you get in tricky situations where you need to make a hasty retreat or weather a crazy attack. Fensive
The final stance available to Warriors is known as Fensive, this allows you to parry back projectiles to enemies the effective works much better with physical projectiles but it's also possible for high skilled Warriors to turn their weapons into magical projectile deflectors as well. This is hugely useful against enemies that love to pelt you from afar.

Hey all with development of Wyvia continuing apace we thought it be fun to begin a class guide series starting with the trusty Mercenary class. Over this series we'll cover the various classes in Wyvia and all of their great abilities and passive traits.
THE MERCENARY
The starting class of Wyvia, being part of a band of mercenaries that help defend the world you are outfitted with various skills and traits to help you in your quest to discover the origin of the missing Wyverns and the source of the monsters invading the world. This is the foundational class of all other classes and your skills allow you to respond to a variety of threats. Maxing out a skill lets you cross-skill into another class to let you mix-n-match your skills.
SKILLS
Dash
The first skill every Mercenary learns is to dash out of the way. You can't die if they can't hit you and a few well placed dashes have saved many a mercenary's skin when a fireball or sword swing gets too close. Dash can be reposition yourself into an advantageous position and get the drop on an enemy. It also makes for a great way to cover a short distance when you gotta go fast. Intensify
Hitting as hard as you get is what chumps do, you want to hit harder! Intensify lets you make one good whack that increases your base damage. Usually this enough to take down most enemies in one swing and if it doesn't well that's what dash is for right? Flashstone
The last tool in the Mercenary's arsenal is the flashstone, these small rocks of imbued with mana don't do a ton of damage but they make up for it by dizzying most enemies. When you enemies are stunned you can whale away with a series of blows or one good intensify strike.
