To celebrate 1 year since release of One Week With The Mafia, I decided to uplift the game into what I now consider to be a more 'finished' state.
Additions:
- Custom Mafias/Modding : With the new mod editor, you can now replace any and all of the intruders' sprites with absolutely any .png image!
- Huge difficulty overhaul : This was by far the most requesting change. Overall, power consumption has been pretty much halved or more depending on the night. Intruders also spend less time at you door.
- Rewritten and rerecorded telephone audio.
- Certain parts of the game have been given major performance boosts (Specifically, the main menu)
Happy new year, and thank you so much for the support since launch!
This update focuses on addressing the various complaints I've seen in the community hub.
Along with that, at release I had forgotten to mention that I have a twitter (I'm currently at an astounding 0 followers). I don't post often, but following is a great way of showing me how many people are actually interested in what I do.
If you are interested in this game or future projects from me you can follow me here.
Anyways, the major changes/additions include:
- The mafia members will no longer stalk your door endlessly.
- Clyde will now be more active when observed than before.
- Lowered power usage for nights 1 to 7.
- Added support for Linux users (Mac support is not planned unfortunately).
- Ambient noises are now quieter and less frequent + 2 new sounds effects.
- Added a link to my twitter in the settings.
- You can no longer use the light and door buttons while the keypad interface is open on night 7.
- Likely various other changes I forgot to note down.
tldr; The gameplay no longer feels impossible half the time.
After having spent years using a dark-web sports betting website, an old friend ends up running up quite the debt. He discovers very quickly that the owners, the Italian mafia, makes sure their clients pay them one way or another.
Thankfully for him, the mafia was sent to your house instead!
In this parody of Scott Cawthon's "Five Nights at Freddy's", you find yourself trapped inside your conveniently located nuclear fallout bunker, with unwanted visitors rapidly approaching your location. From your bunker, you must stalk the intruders movements until they become a threat, and use the bullet-proof steel doors at your disposal to lock them out. But use these tools conservatively, as you are running off a crappy generator, in need of constant repair, and with very limited gas left. To them, you are a sitting duck, it is up to you to ensure you make it to midnight.
