New update for Whispering Lane (version 1.0.2) is now available on Steam. This update includes several improvements and fixes across various aspects of the game to enhance the overall experience. Below are the details of what's new in this version of Whispering Lane. Thanks for your feedback. In the next update (1-5 days), I will focus on improving enemies and lockers, the walking simulator, and Last Hope mode. I will also add some options from Apartment 1406. Resolved the problem with the intro (sometimes the initial intro would appear when the player died).

Fixed the missing "examine" title for some items (key in our aprtment/room, bloodbag etc.)

Resolved the issue where some players had to click the SAVE BUTTON twice in the menu to save the game.

Adjusted the position of Trigger_Autosave in the big room*

Made the crates static

Fixed an issue with shortcuts

Fixed medic item in library

Changed the trap cutscene and slowed down the spikes by 25%

Fixed the crawler appearing after the spider

Corrected the issue where AMMO could be taken through the window because of the ignore raycast setting

Increased and repositioned auto saves.

Added titles for some items, such as Valve, Apple, etc. (these are not company names, just item names...)

Fixed the last room in Chapter II (issue with the doors).

Improved some English voiceovers.

Enhanced shaders.

Improved the prologue cutscene.

Refined enemy animations.

Rebuilt compilations for Windows 32-bit, Windows 64-bit, Linux 64-bit, and Mac 64-bit.

Made level adjustments for Chapter 1 and Chapter 2.

Fixed issues with Ultrawide and other unusual resolutions (21:9, etc.).

Resolved the quest display issue (translation wasn't refreshing) in some languages (first task in the prologue).

Adjusted the balance for EASY and NORMAL levels (increased weapon damage by 35%).

Made improvements for LAST HOPE.

Balanced enemies and bosses.

Added various sounds for monsters.

Made improvements to the player (model etc.)

Added new hint icons, such as for the bag (Press TAB to close).

Improved localizations

Improved brightness (in options)

Improved some weapons

Prepared the game for the DEMO version.

Updated Windows 64-bit, Windows 32-bit, Mac 64-bit, and Linux 64-bit versions.
