I have just uploaded in the "beta" branch a new build of the game.
Nothing has changed content-wise, but the build uses the latest stable Ren'Py and might solve some achievement bugs that people had in the past (especially on Mac) and it should also run smoothly.
I would really appreciate if people tested this build before I make it live in the main/default branch. I tested it myself but sadly I am very busy with many other projects :(

Surprise, surprise! Im proud to announce that were working on a bonus DLC for the game Love Bites. And the best news is that the DLC will be included for free in the base game!
The DLC will add Ashley to the pool of the romanceable characters. Since both the writer and I loved her (for the appearance and personality as youll read below) we decided that would have been a pity to not add her. Like the other love interests, shell be available both to Kaitlyn and Brandon.
Now I can of course imagine that some people will be disappointed that theres only one extra female, but also for technical reasons (like there simply wasnt enough space to add more characters in the scheduler! and other things) we can only add one more, and after some recent events (cancellation of Nicole yuri, long time since I made a BxG game) I think if I had to add one character only, it should have been a female.
However, we might explore Love Bites world again in future, maybe in another game, and well make sure to include some handsome boys too.
The DLC writing has been already finished, but it still needs to be scripted and tested. I hope to have it ready next month.
To celebrate the 3rd anniversary of this game release, I've added a new beta branch with a version of the game in "visual novel mode".
If you don't like the scheduler/stat raising gameplay and just want to experience the story, or if you have already finished the game once and want to quickly replay it to see the other endings, this is the right option.
You'll be able to skip the stat raising part completely and only enjoy the story.
To try the beta, right click on the game name in the library and choose "Betas" tab. Then select the beta. The game will update to version 1.0.6 with the new mode (will appear in the game after the usual intro).
For now this version is still in beta even if I think it should be working. Once enough people confirmed that they can reach all the endings, will move into the full release branch.

Hi, I've added the new Ren'Py Steam API, so achievements should also work under Linux. In addition I've also enabled the cloud saves. They're cross-platform so you can save and load from / to any OS! :)

Hi all, in addition of having the game in a 33% discount this week, I've also uploaded a beta version for anyone wanting to test it. It uses new libraries of my framework, so should run faster and resolve some compatibility problems. The game itself wasn't changed, so if was working fine for you before, no need to try the beta. To test the beta you need to right-click on the game name in library and then in the BETAS tab choose to opt-in for the beta version. If anyone tries it I'm interested to know if the achievements on the Windows/Mac version still works :) thanks
