After a lot of back and forth with different concept, ideas and implementations, Meteora's Mystic Merge v1.1 is finally here and available for everyone. The update will be free to download, as is the base game. But we did add a DLC that allows for faster progression and also to sort of support us to help develop and release future updates. This update is probably the biggest one there ever will be, as with it the game finally can stand on it's own and isn't just a reskin of Suika. What is new:
- Progression and unlockable content
- More playable characters (4)
- Orb and Background skins
- Gacha
- Leaderboard
- better abilities
- more visual and sound effects
- better and more detailed settings
- lots of bug fixes and smaller improvements
Another day, another sneak peak #4
Today we wanna show of the leaderboard and user profile you will now be able to see in the start screen. It will likely be a weekly leaderboard where your name, points and most played character will be showed off.
We are currently nearing the final phase but it will still take us a little to get it all together for a proper launch as we do want do have an as good as possible experience for everyone.
BTW in case you are left wondering:
We are aiming to make it so the game can both be fully played offline and add games later to the leaderboard to make it as smooth as an experience as it can possibly be, even if that has some downsides which we'll tackle after release...
This may also be the final sneak peak, we do hope by the time we'd be posting the next one, the update is release ready.
Been a bit, but here it is: Sneakpeak #3
Last time one new character was introduced but we didn't reveal how you will be able to unlock new content.
You will be able to earn MeteCoins by playing the game which will help you unlock characters using Gacha.
However, there won't be any microtransactions for this Gacha system, you can't buy any of the currency. All of it has to be earned by playing the game, it's meant to be fun.
You will be able to pull/paint on the Gacha right there:
We are still working on the overall system, but you all should be able to get the gist of it with that one.
Aside from that, some stuff has been taking longer than expected and as this is a side gig we have to delay the update to around end of april or early may. Sorry for that, but we don't want to release anything that feels to rushed :)
Another Sneak peak into the 1.1 update to the game, today's is regarding game characters.
If you've played the game enough already to get to a Meteora, you will have noticed that there is currently a secondary character in game with a different ability.
The unlock requirements will be changed with this update, as it will make future expansion a bit bothersome, but more regarding that in the next sneak peak.
Update 1.1 will include one new character, namely Shiro. He was one of the orbs before and now is also a playable character. He will have a new ability and some other visual changes, but I don't wanna spoil to much ;)
We are working on updating the game with new content and improving existing features.
Today I wanna share a sneak peak into the reworked settings menu with far more options than before, like custom rebinding, windowed mode, colour changeable highlights, etc.
Of course there are also gameplay updates coming, but we are still working on those.
The Update should release by the end of this month, give or take a week or two.
- When starting a new game from menu, a simple tutorial window will now show.
- Does not show when restarting through the Pause Menu or Game Over Window.
- Can be disabled in the settings.
- Fixed a bug where the web socket connection was sometimes not closed correctly when going to menu.
- Game Version will now be displayed in the bottom left corner of the menu.
- Drag and Drop of Mouse Control now is 1:1 with the actual mouse movement (was 1:0.7 before)
- Enable Horizontal Drop Velocity setting now defaults to false
- Mouse Control can now be set to either "Follow" or "Drag" mode. (Defaults to follow)
Hope everyone is enjoying the game, some smaller fixes and quality of life features:
- fixed blurry Desktop icon
- fixed portuguese language button to show all text
- added mouse control (disabled by default, enable in settings)
- horizontal velocity can now be disabled (settings)
- added ability shortcut hint

This game is similar to the cult game "2048" as well as "Suika Game" which is a switch exclusive.
Gameplay:
Combine two of the same character/object to get to the next one.
Try to get to the final Meteora without exceeding the glass or throwing any objects outside of it.
On the right side you can see a little graph which explains the progression levels.
Though the first ones seem rather easy, getting to the final Meteora is challenging to say the least
