Weekly Comics!

We're so glad that so many of you have enjoyed our game! We've heard your inquiries about more content, and while our dev team is unable to make more content for the game at this time-- we've decided to make weekly comics for the rest of the summer! So far, we've released 6 comics, topics ranging from Daryl and Kyle's friendship, in-game hilarity, and a little bit more about Kyle. Stay tuned for one every week, releasing on Thursdays!

Mac Release

The WereCleaner is now fully playable on Mac! This version has feature parity with the Windows version and will receive future updates at the same time. Both Apple Silicon and Intel Macs are supported, although we recommend at least an M1 Mac for the best experience. Sadly, you cannot play the game on Steam due to Mac's Permissions, but we've released it here on the Mac App Store! https://apps.apple.com/us/app/the-werecleaner/id6478448519 Android is now our next thing that we'll be working on, so I ask that you please be patient with us while we try to sort out the issues we've been having with it

Update 2

This game update addresses lots of bugs, big and small. In many cases, these fixes improve the experience for both Mac and Steam Deck players! Wow! Many of these bugs were also found and reported in our Discord community, which happens to be a super sick place that you can join right now!

It has been 1 week since The WereCleaner released and we have been blown away by all the love and support. This game has been a passion project for almost a year, so it is incredible to see so many people play the game and share their experiences with us. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Update 1 - Fixes, Fixes, Fixes!

Our first game update is live! Nothing crazy has been added for now (let us cook...) but we've addressed many small issues.

Features

• Added a 'Delete Save Data' option in the Settings menu
• Added the game's logo to the Main Menu
• Added a link to the Discord server on the Main Menu

Fixes

• Improved mess bar feedback on overlapping messes
• Fixed a controller bug when navigating between pause screens
• Patched an exploit for multi-step achievement progress

Mobile Release

Some people have asked if we will release on mobile, and the answer is... We already have, and you can play it now on iOS! This is the entire game, fully playable from start to finish, on your iPhone or iPad! As with the Steam version, the mobile version is totally free without ads. And for Android users, we're currently testing an Android port! We aren't ready to release quite yet, but we will be conducting a large-scale playtest in our Discord server (hint hint). To release on Google Play, we need 24 testers to play the game, and we'd love your help when we're ready!
