In rounds 4 and 10 you can pick 1 out of 3 Skills. Skills are a special kind of item that mix up the gameplay and open up new kinds of builds.
Currently, there is a total of 20 skills, some can only be found in round 4, some only in round 10 and some of them are in both pools (you can check this in the item info panel). Each class has 2 class-specific skills. We plan to add more skills in a later update. If you enjoy Backpack Battles, please consider leaving a review - it's a great way to support the game!

the biggest Backpack Battles update is here - the Skills Update!
In rounds 4 and 10 you can pick 1 out of 3 Skills. Skills are a special kind of item that mix up the gameplay and open up new kinds of builds.

- In rounds 4 and 10 you can now choose 1 out of 3 skills
- Item library info panel now shows the rounds in which Unique items can be found
- Shop now shows Choose a subclass in subclass round (similar in skill rounds)

- Item Library: Items can now be left-clicked for a detail view

- Unstable / Stable Recombublator now have an in-combat effect (partially reduced the value increases of the last patches to compensate for this)
- Blood Harvester: Stamina cost 0.4 -> 0.2
- Villain Sword: Stamina cost 0.5 -> 0.3
- Skull Badge: Cooldown 1.6s -> 1.5s
- Artifact Stone: Death: Cooldown 3s -> 2.5s
- Unsettling Presence: Heal 10 -> 12
- Time Dilator: Speed increase 5% -> 6%
- Holy Spear: Accuracy 150% -> 200%
- Friendly Fire: Cooldown 3.2s -> 3s
- Dragon Nest: Heal 4 -> 5
- Frostbite: Damage per Cold 0.5 -> 0.4, chance to inflict Cold 50% -> 60%
- Frozen Buckler: Damage prevented 5 -> 6
- Vineweave Basket: Sale chance bonus 17% -> 20%
- Big Bowl of Treats: Removed 2 star slots
- Piercing Arrow: Critical damage 40% -> 50%
- Belladonnas Whisper: Damage +3
- Relic Case: Cooldown 3s -> 3.2s
- Cursed Dagger: Cooldown 2.1s -> 2.0s
- Death Scythe: Cost 14g -> 12g
- Snake: Health Bonus 55 -> 50
- Strong Demonic Flask: Lifesteal 0.7 -> 0.75
