Nine years and two Shakespeare plays away from adapting every single one of the Bard's works into a video game.

There's a price change incoming to Geeks 2. Right now, it's at 99 cents. We're trying to make it free. The reason being because we got all of the AI art out of the game, therefore we don't see the point in selling a game using entirely reused assets. AI has no use in art, and the fact that we let it slip by was naive, stupid, incredibly brazen, and entirely unprofessional. We're going to be publishing some new donation DLC (most likely next month), which most likely will include some new scenes using new assets.

We recently changed the price of GEEKS 2 from $4.99 to .$99. We did so because, at the time of publishing, we had backgrounds that we thought were okay to use, so we paid for them and put them in the game. We recently got all of the AI out of the game, and as such, drastically lowered the price due to this. I'm going to be clear. We do not advocate for the usage of AI in art, and using some for backgrounds, even though we trusted the artist, was incredibly stupid and brazen. Next month, we will be adding in a few small scenes to the game to justify why the title still has a price tag.

All of the new backgrounds are in for Scarecrows of Illyria, and we're having a new writer's room/production meeting this weekend to discuss tweaks to the current story. We just felt like, as we were getting rid of the AI art, we also could update the narrative as well. While we do not want to give an actual date for the new version of the game to actually drop, we do want to express that it should be out before the end of the year. There are just a few other projects for 2025 that came up in the meantime. Army of Tentacles: Assault on Rainbow Unicorn Island is going to come out next Tuesday. This game in no way should have taken as long as it did to come out. But that's the life of an indie dev company, especially if you want full VO in your game. The game's VO will be patched in at a later date. We already lost one backup of the VO files, and now the secondary may very well perish in the San Diego fires. I'd rather not worry about video game bullshit right now. I'd rather focus on making sure my team is safe and not burning to cinders, or wondering where they are going to live in a few days. I'd rather they focus on that. Hell, they would rather they focus on that. So, VO will be patched in at a later date.

Large game bundles will be disabled for all future official Steam Sales that have the ridiculous Sale Trading Card mechanic. These are just easy targets for those that are just buying and mass refunding games in order to get Sale Cards.
