Play as a snarky AI with a fractured personality, solving puzzles and challenges as you carry out your primary objective: protect ELON! Your eccentric and reckless ward, ELON, needs help with basic everyday tasks like constructing a flamethrower, dodging aggressive cleaning appliances, and navigating his electric Edison car. You know, the usual.
Just who is this ELON, anyway?
Contend with a world of excessive technology as you dig into your own past to discover the truth about the Electronic Learning Optimization Network, its progenitor Aleth Labs, and what it all has to do with this, uh... maverick... person that you have been tasked to chaperone.
Multiple game styles
Sharpen your transistors (that doesn't even make sense..?) and experience the gamut of the puzzle/adventure genre through a morphing game interface.
- Reach your AI tentacles (metaphorical only, of course) through the Internet and interact with electronic devices near ELON. Explore rooms, manipulate and move objects, produce distractions, and induce fear to progress ELON to his destination through a traditional point-and-click style.
- Commandeer ELON's high-tech electric car, the Edison, and put your multi-tasking to the test. Rapidly solve puzzles to control the car while actively avoiding other drivers on the road. As hazards become more frequent and ELON grows restless, can you manage the chaos and reach the destination before your battery runs out?
- Eschew your omniscience and inhabit the ELON Husk (the what?!?) to probe the world in your fancy new body! Re-think established mechanics as you shift focus from ELON to your recently-corporeal self and advance through an abandoned research lab on foot. Featuring directional controls and the ability to interact, grab, push, and pull, this vessel has everything you could ask for. Except rocket arms. Rocket arms would be nice.
Additional features
A system of streamlined properties allows for creative solutions to many of the rooms, including shortcuts that may save time or bypass dangers.
Looking for an extra challenge? Find optional hidden secrets throughout the game to unlock a mysterious door deep in the Aleth Laboratory.
Did you make a mistake? Forget the tedious business of traditional save/load management. A persistent health system allows you to replay previous levels at any time, saving your highest-health result on each level and carrying it forward cumulatively without losing progress.
Fully-voiced dialog brings the characters to life. (or uh... artificial life, whatever)
Experience a modern world in retro style through isometric pixel art drawn by a guy who likes to rub his face on kitty bellies. (Marketing tells me that's not a feature, but I think they're just jealous.)
