Collect relics, but beware of curses that may lead to your downfall. However, death does not mean the end. Return to the mysterious island of Iticali and set sail once more to seize the cursed treasure of Mapoya.

Over the last six months, something incredible happened behind the scenes of Pirates: Rogues Fortune. More than 200 hours of playtesting reshaped the game in ways we never imagined when we started.
Our very first and most dedicated tester was my wife. Evening after evening, build after build, she played, broke things, gave honest feedback, and pointed out every this feels weird moment without mercy. Friends, family, and our small team quickly followed. Late nights, long sessions, countless notes. This simple loop became our daily routine: test in the evening, fix and refine the next morning, develop new features in the afternoon.
And honestly it changed everything.
Playtesting did far more than fix bugs. It helped us:
Rebalance the entire game,

[/*]Identify unclear mechanics and difficulty spikes,
[/*]Spot boring moments we were blind to,
[/*]And most importantly, spark new design ideas that made the game deeper and more fun.

Watching players live was a huge eye-opener. What looks like player mistakes is often actually unclear design, missing feedback, or lack of information. These moments taught us more than any internal test ever could.
