After the Piano scene there is a video being played in the kitchen.
Unfortunately the engine freezes on some computers when the video is showing.
This is a known bug and is very hard to consistently fix since it's so sporadic and maybe even hardware dependent.
I apologize for the frustration.
I implemented a workaround while I work on a consistent fix.
Fix:
After the piano scene the game does an autosave.
Load the save file and head to the kitchen.
Now, instead of clicking the pizza on the table talk to your dad.
He'll ask you about the bug and teleport you right into the next stage of the game.
Again - Sorry but it's kind of out of my hands. I'll do my best though!
Thank you very much,
KoKo
Finally my game's ready for release!
It's EA, it's free and it's waiting to be played!
Thanks for your patience and feel free to report anything annoying to the Discussions Tab.
I'll try to respond ASAP.
See you around!
Deaf Wish has the typical characteristics of an old school japanese Horror RPG with its focus on puzzle solving and dealing with emotional trauma.
You'll play as Lily, a young girl who lost her father at an early age and who's mother became unstable because of it. The gist of the game is that during day-phases you'll encounter reoccurring problems in Lily's life which you'll then process in her dreams.
Since the game is in its Early Access Stage only 1/3 of the story is currently playable.
Features
No real audio during day-phases to emphasize with Lilys condition
Slight horror with its focus on story.
Bloody and implicit scenes.
Physical save points (interaction with a blue teddy to save)
