An Agonized Mind Update 1.3 is here, bringing a new game mode and several fixes/changes.
Overpowered Mode
Start the game over again with all your upgrades FULLY MAXED out. Also, you have increased speed and stamina refills quicker after sprinting. Those experiments don't stand a chance against #040798 in this game mode created just for some simple fun. You cannot use upgrade stations when in this mode because you are already maxed out.
Fixes/Changes
Bug Fixes
Fixed issue where health bar would not adjust according to the player's max health
If player needs only 1 heal press to heal and use a health kit, this will work now
Changes
Modified the New Game menu to accommodate the new game mode
Changed stamina refill delay from 3 seconds to 2 seconds
This is a small update that mainly focuses on making the beginning levels a bit more forgiving since you do not have a weapon yet.
Also fixed a glitch with health not resetting when you died, went to the Main Menu, then continued playing. This fix may help with another glitch where the player is sometimes invincible when reloading a checkpoint -> this might still be an issue though.
Lots of little improvements have been made in this new demo version. Some should make the game more fun and others are really adding more polish to the game.
Notable Changes
Shooting should be way more satisfying now!
Enemies are faster
There are enemy death animations
Shooting now has recoil
Movement and rotation is smoother
Movement and rotation should feel weightier and much more improved versus an "instant snap"
Sounds have been slightly altered
Some simple bug fixes

Waking up in pain... waking up as some twisted half human, half robot monstrosity. The surrounding dark corridors are filled with other horrific experiments created by a sick and twisted master. Fight through the endless hallways and upgrade yourself, choosing to become either more human or more robotic... but isn't that what the master wants?
A robot must be told every instruction to perform, a human can perform actions naturally. An Agonized Mind is a 2D top-down horror survival shooter where you have to fight off other horrific human experiments while trying to make your way to freedom.
Upgrades and progression - choose to be more robotic or to be more human
Manually reload each bullet, manually heal yourself
