That is, until she was summoned to the magical world of Anthem by a catgirl in a witch’s hat, who asked her to take up a sword and become a brave hero.
Two months have passed since then, and Aki has slowly been getting to grips with her newfound surroundings. Anthem isn’t anything like Tokyo, but maybe that’s a good thing. Aki was getting pretty tired of working a dull and exploitative office job.
Aki would be content enough to enjoy a relaxing, easygoing life in Anthem, but things aren’t that simple: not when Mina wants her to search for the missing priestess Luna.
While trying to locate Luna, Aki and her party stumble across a promising lead in the form of a bunny-eared girl, Dulce. Dulce is stubborn, however, and she doesn’t believe that Aki and her party are capable of rescuing Luna.
Now, Aki needs to try and convince Dulce that she’s got what it takes to save the day – but why does Scarlet seem to dislike Dulce so much?
And how will your choices influece the romance in this story?
Aki is a shy, self-conscious girl who prefers to let other people do the talking. Since she’s quiet, she might come across as standoffish, but she simply has a hard time articulating herself.
Aki was a kendo champion in her teenage years, but she’s a little uncertain about the idea of being a hero. She has her work cut out for her if she wants to save the missing priestess!
Mina is a skilled mage and she knows it. She’s only too aware of how gifted she is, and she doesn’t mind flaunting it. Proud, haughty, and a little too confident, she has a tendency to rub people the wrong way, and she can be rather forceful.
Mina is a perfectionist who demands only the best, but she’s harsher on herself than anybody else. She doesn’t let herself off the hook, and she has a nasty habit of pushing herself too hard.
Scarlet is a warrior otherwise known as ‘the scarlet whirlwind of justice’…
At least, that’s what she’d like people to call her, but nobody really plays along.
Scarlet dreams of being a brave, noble warrior, and she’s always jumping at the bit to help people. Unfortunately, she’s the sort of person who acts fist, then asks questions later, which often results in her leading both herself and her party into peril.
Dulce is a rabbit-eared woman who’s much older than she looks. Despite her youthful face, she’s spent many years adventuring, and she likes passing her knowledge down onto the younger generations.
Dulce is a capable teacher who has a knack for bringing out the potential in people – but (to Scarlet’s chagrin) she’s also an incorrigible flirt who likes to tease pretty girls.
Taiga is an energetic thief who got on Mina’s bad side after trying to rob her. She was swiftly defeated, however, and the group hasn’t seen her since.
This changes, however, when Dulce enters the picture. Taiga, surprisingly enough, is one of Dulce’s apprentices, and despite her brash nature, Dulce is very, very fond of her indeed.
