It's time for Amir chapter three! Amir's sparkly outer veneer has been hiding secrets this whole time- find out what they are and get to the heart of the matter! Finally it's here! Find out more about Akello's malevolent stalker demon and what he's been doing in his free time to cope! As always, much love to my beta testers who work very hard to make sure shit works! I wanna give a shoutout to @cvnvryarts for letting me bounce Raath prototypes and designs around with them for the last few years, they really helped me refine his visuals especially. Discord Rich Presence has been removed for the time being due to some pretty bad instability issues, especially with Linux users. To learn more about what changes have been implemented in this update, please check out my changelog thread!

- Temporarily disabled discord rich presence as I'd like to do some more stability testing on it for various usecases and don't want it crashing games intermittently in the meantime. It will be implemented again soon!

Mori's been pretty open with his secrets so far but he's got his far share of inner (and outer) demons. Here's some things that were updated besides story content: Chapter bookmark notifications Controller/Keyboard tutorial on the first time you go through the prologue New backgrounds, sfx, and music Updated the Help and About menus New Patrons added to the credits Discord Rich Presence (this can be turned off in the Options menu) And lots more!! - Fixed a minor bug where some sections of the story would end and return to the main menu when accessed from the chapters submenu.

Amir's first chapter is here! Find out more about what this slinky succubus is hiding. In addition:

• The chapter selection menu is now grayed out by default and will unlock once you have chosen your MC's name/pronouns/body type in order to prevent missing MC data from crashing the game. If the chapter menu is grayed out for you and you have existing save data, go into options from the main menu and set your name/pronouns/body. This will ensure that the game remembers this information this time and should unlock the menu with all your checkpoints intact. You should only have to do this one time to straighten everything out.
• Added advanced accessibility controls including an additional sans font toggle, text scaling slider, vertical space scaling slider, and easy reset default buttons. This is still being worked on to refine styling across as much font/sizing as possible- there are a couple screens where the text scale of Open Dyslexic still runs into a little trouble.

• Fixed fatal crash for Akello's dialog tree in Bookdudes.

Akello's first chapter is here! Find out what his deal is and what dangers he's been facing all alone- and maybe even what he misses most about his human life. In addition:

• Added SFX to slider bars where necessary
• Streamlined the music room

If you're having trouble running TCM on Steamdeck, try these steps:

• From the game page in your Library, click on the Settings cog
• Choose Properties
  
• From the left hand list of options, choose Compatibility
• Make sure "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool is checked
• Choose "Steam Linux Runtime 1.0 (scout)"
• Launch game.
