Step into the boots of Olaf, a charming yet clumsy dwarf with a love for strong ale and wild adventures. Welcome to Olaf the Boozer. This 2D top-down puzzle game takes you on a hilariously twisted journey as Olaf tries to piece together the chaotic events of his forgotten night, one step at a time.Gameplay
- Olaf wakes up to a disaster: broken furniture, scattered belongings, a pounding hangover, and no memory of what happened. To uncover the night's events, you must help Olaf collect "ghosts" that represent his mischief and hazy memories, retracing his steps from the previous night. As you navigate puzzles and challenges, you'll "restore" furniture and solve the mystery behind Olaf's wild escapades.
- Furniture Restoration: Walk over broken furniture to restore it. Be careful! Once restored, Olaf can't step on it again, making each move critical.
- Trail Navigation: Follow specific trails that guide Olaf's steps. Step on the last piece of the trail to be automatically guided to its end.
- Staircase Portals: Use staircases as portals to transport Olaf across different parts of the level. These portals create complex puzzles that challenge your strategic thinking.
- Victim Snake Mechanic: Collect red ghosts to reveal NPCs Olaf hit last night. These NPCs will follow Olaf in a snake-like chain, creating a dynamic obstacle that Olaf must navigate around. Collect yellow ghosts in sequence by ensuring you have the corresponding red ghost NPC in your chain.

- Alcohol Mechanics: Manage Olaf's alcohol consumption. Restore barrels to lose alcohol points and pick up vomit buckets to recover all points, adding an extra layer of strategy and resource management.
- Switches and Gates: Manipulate the environment with switches to open new paths or close off old ones, adding depth to the puzzle-solving experience.
- Engaging Plot: Follow a storyline reminiscent of "The Hangover" and "A Night to Remember" from Skyrim. What begins as a comedic search for lost memories soon uncovers a larger, more serious narrative filled with intrigue, inspired by the novel "Guards! Guards!".
- Decision-Based Progression: Your choices matter. Make decisions based on the clues you gather to impact the storyline, available levels, and endings. Experience multiple branching paths and outcomes.

The team here at the development tavern has been brewing up a fresh batch of updates for Olaf the Boozer, all designed to make your hangover slightly more manageable. We\'ve heard your feedback and, with a little help from the Ale Gods, weve made some much-needed quality-of-life improvements.
Heres whats new in this patch:
1. The \"Ale God\" Hint System \"\'Suddenly, these glowing arrows appeared, showing me exactly where I could pull a barrel!\'\"
Just as Olaf was granted a vision, so are you! You\'ll now see glowing arrows indicating which directions a barrel or other object can be pulled from your current position. No more wasting your strength wrestling with scenery when you could be searching for... well, whatever it is you\'re searching for.

2. Dynamic Button Hints \"Wait, was it this button or... oh, who am I kidding, I\'ll just use my shoulder.\"
Olaf can\'t always remember which button does what (can any of us, really?). To help his groggy brain, the UI now displays dynamic button hints for key actions. Best of all, they update automatically whether you\'re using a keyboard or a controller, so you\'ll always know the right input without fumbling.
3. Settings on the Main Menu \"I need to turn the music down before my head splits in two.\"
Sometimes you need to adjust the settings before the adventure begins. We\'ve made the Settings menu directly accessible from the Main Menu, so you can now tweak your audio, video, and control preferences before jumping back into last night\'s haze.
Other Minor Fixes:
Polished some dwarven grammar in the dialogue.
