Wow. It's launch day. First, we apologize for arriving a little past our scheduled release date. It took longer than expected for Steam to approve our build. But know that we took that extra time to improve, polish, and play-test Checkout to ensure that you're getting the best experience. We'd like to say a huge thank you to everybody who played our demo and gave feedback on how Checkout could be improved. Trust me when I say that we listened to every point and implemented almost every suggestion. Checkout is 100 times better because of you cashiers. Also, we'd like to thank all the kind words and support that we have received. We never imagined this little game would resonate with so many people. We've been gamers for as long as we can remember and only in the past year did we finally muster up the courage to make games ourselves and now here we are. It truly is a dream come true. We hope our story can inspire you to chase your own dreams as well!

Coming Soon

Here's a list of things that we have in store for Checkout. Some may be more immediate while others may take a little more time to cook.

Endless Mode - Play a shift without the timer. Great for when you want to put on a show or podcast in the background.
Seasonal Decor - Give a festive vibe in the break room depending on the month.
More, more, more - More products, more customers, and customer dialogue lines.
Localization - I'm going to try my best.

And of course we will be monitoring the game for any bugs to be squashed and quality-of-life improvements that can be made. We'll try to solve those issues as they arise.

Scan a wide variety of products, place them all in a bag, and finish up the transaction by taking cash, check, or card payments. Check out as many customers as you can within the time limit to earn more points.

Earn Points.

The faster, more accurate, and organized you are, the more points you earn. Group items from the same department to get bonus points. There are over 20 departments with 300+ products, so you'll always see something new.

Meet Your Coworkers.

Between shifts, get to know the colorful cast of characters who have worked here longer than they’d like to admit. Everyone has new dialogue each shift, so you can learn more about them and their story. Welcome to the family!

Customize Your Character.

You can change your eye, hair, and skin color. Model your character after yourself, or create a whole new persona. The Cooper's uniform is required, so any deviation in the dress code will be reprimanded.

Top the Leaderboards.

Challenge your friends and coworkers to see who’s the best at their job. Working Overtime Mode (whether you signed up for it or were pressured by your manager) means an opportunity to earn double points and a chance to get your name on the Top Employee Leaderboard.
