Hello! It's been a month since the game released on Steam! Thank you everyone for playing the game. I hope you all enjoyed it. Today, I want to share some news about the upcoming update - Chapter 3B.
Production on the update has been on going for a while now. Most of the scenes are complete.
But there still remain a few big ones that need to be rendered. And that is what I'll be doing for the next month.
After all the images are rendered, it usually take a week to edit and code them into the game. A further week will be needed to playtest. Because this Steam release was the first update with additional language support, it might take more time to get everything tested.
Keep an eye out for future progress reports as we get closer to the release of the next update!

In the aftermath of a horrific galaxy-wide terrorist attack and war on the Empire by a mysterious rebellion, a highly decorated Officer is transferred to Special Operations Squad Nu under unusual circumstances. Playing as the Officer, a war hero traumatized by an event that made him the center of a galactic conspiracy, you will lead a team of specialists assembled from various factions of the Empire to unravel the mystery behind the Rebellion that has broken many lives. As an interactive visual novel, Color of My Sound offers a carefully planned choice system that will not overwhelm you with muddled choices with impossible to know consequences. Instead, the choices will gradually progress from flavor to small variations to branching paths as the story unfolds. As the stake escalates, so too will the impact of your choices.

The game also features a robust Codex system that expands with lore entries and character dossiers as you learn about them. With the Lore Tooltips feature, you will never be lost should you take a break from the story and have forgotten details about the world.
