Enzio-Ware v2.1.1.0-EA

New Microgames!

  • Peel Carrot: In this microgame, you are tasked with peeling carrots as if they were bananas.
  • Chop Pecan: Carmy is controlling the wind to make a knife spin around, stop it in the correct position to successfully chop the Pecan in half.
  • Grease Pan: Rub butter on a pan to coat it. The butter expires 10 seconds after being exposed to air though, so you gotta be quick!
  • Decorate Cake: Cooking is all about matching the picture on the box, even if everything else tells you not to do that. Slide the cake layers around to match the image on the top screen.
  • Crack Egg: You must crack one singular egg without it shattering. Go slow
  • While Carmys episode is now at the ideal number of 10 microgames, there are a couple others we brainstormed that may get added in the future if they dont get used in other episodes.
New Use For Music Tracks!
  • You can now override the music track when in Freeplay mode. To do so, go to the freeplay mode screen and hit the track icon in the bottom right. By clicking on any track aside from Default it will now play when an episode is selected!
  • When Default is selected, the episode will play its intended music. For the time being, you will not be able to use the main menu track in freeplay mode.
  • The track you set for Freeplay will remain set until you either change it yourself, or close out the game.
Gameplay Adjustments
  • Significant improvements to MIXING microgame:
    • The hitboxes of the fruits are now more accurate to their shapes
    • When 2 fruits overlap, the front-most one should now be picked properly instead of being a toss-up.
    • When the mixing bowl shows up, the fruits are no longer accidentally shoved downwards.
  • Significant improvements to Bake microgame:
    • The microgame now involves blowing out a flame from underneath a boiling pot instead of trying to set the kitchen on fire as in prior builds.
    • There is a bit more going on screen this time animation-wise.
    • Instead of being a flat check for if you screamed for a second, it is now a per-frame check based on your mic volume.
    • Due to this change, you can no longer press space during this microgame. As it doesnt show up in rotation if you dont have/disable microphone use anyways, this hopefully isnt an issue.
  • Adjustments to the games tutorial
    • The games tutorial has been updated to remove some dialogue that was only relevant to the original game jam version of the game.
    • Grazie will trigger different dialogue if the game fails to detect a microphone.
    • The end run button no longer shows up in the tutorial screen, this was an oversight.
    • The pause menu (detailed more in QoL section) will let you adjust your volumes in the tutorial. Specifically for the tutorial, the end run button is instead a skip tutorial button.
    • Similar to the other method of hitting 0 to scare Grazie away and end the tutorial, you will not be granted any of the items theyd normally give you for clearing it.
    • Unlike the other method, this will take you straight to the main menu and can be triggered at any point.
    • You will still get the achievement.
Quality Of Life Improvements
  • One of the buttons on the Enzio-System will now function as a pause menu
    • Please be aware that some microgames may not pause correctly at the current moment, pausing may put the game into a state where you are forced to lose.
    • On the pause menu, you are able to end a run early, adjust your volumes, and check how many coins have been earned during the run.
    • We have tried to manually adjust as many microgames as possible to account for pausing. Please feel free to let us know if any of them do not function correctly when paused, or if functionality broke after changing them.
  • Some microgames and microgame related operations that had operations utilizing realtime have been switched over to using the scaled time.
    • The countdown and microgame timer will now accurately reflect your time scale.
    • Most microgames now properly account for the time scale as well.
Minor Additions
  • Added offline password data for Shmumpo distribution and removed offline password data for the Kayak;Cross distribution.
  • The two Enzio-Systems from said password distribution will now be obtainable via Grazies Enzio-Pon machine Evidence Locker Finds
Bug Fixes
  • The text that flashes when a microgame is won or lost now appears for the appropriate amount of time if it occurs within a second of the game starting.
  • In areas of the game that involve rotating an object on the bottom screen, the speed was unintentionally determined entirely by how often Update() ran and would be inconsistent, oftentimes way too fast. It is now tied to framerate instead and should be more consistent, but we will likely need to continue adjusting values to make sure everything is registered at appropriate speeds.
  • Fixed an issue where hitting Play or Back on the character select screen could accidentally select a character if they were lined up correctly.
  • Fixed an issue where the screen was slightly offset in Freeplay mode.
Known Bugs
  • On certain resolutions it is possible for the bottom screen to become misaligned in specific microgames. This will only happen if you are playing in an aspect ratio where the game is taller than it is wide. For now we have deemed this not an issue but may patch the game to prevent it from running in those sorts of resolutions in the future if it becomes an issue.
  • The size of the Stylus does not change with resolution, making it appear at odd sizes when the game is ran at resolutions other than 1080p. We are currently trying to figure out the best way to approach this as all attempts to resize the cursor have done nothing, we will likely need to add in different scaled versions of them all in the future.
Whats Next?
  • Now that Carmy is at 10 microgames, we will work to increase the microgame count for Polly. This might end up being done this month depending on how everything goes. The goal is for every character to be at 10 by the end of May, but it may be pushed back to June as several team members are graduating college next month lol.

Enzio-Ware v2.1.0.2-EA Patch Notes

This patch fixes an issue where content on the bottom screen would sometimes be rendered as a black screen. Genuinely sorry for this going live, we didn't think to retest all the microgames cause nothing should've changed with them. The material they use somehow became the child of another material and started pointing to the wrong texture.

Enzio-Ware v2.1.0-EA Release!

Gameplay Changes


    Sams episode has been updated to use the revised cutscene system.
  • The revised cutscene system features a more traditional visual novel layout, with multiple character portraits appearing at once.
  • Both static backgrounds and CG are present in these cutscenes. In a future update, there will be a dynamic soundtrack.
  • The revised cutscene system utilizes a fast forward instead of a full skip. The reason for this change is due to how the new cutscene engine handles changing scenes and granting items. Full skip will be re-implemented if this is an issue.
  • For now, the cutscene system still utilizes Animalese. In the future we may replace this with proper voice acting.
  • Currently, if you Fast Display (idk what the standard term for showing all text at once without skipping lol) the dialogue box will stop playing sound. We will introduce a setting in a future update to allow the characters to also stop speaking when you do this.
  • There is currently a bug where the portraits are floating slightly above the ES at some resolutions. We will try and have this fixed as soon as possible.
Added data needed for upcoming shop events Changed the Main Menu Theme.
  • The music track Default has been updated to the new theme.
  • By launching the ambassador certificate, you can unlock the prior theme, now renamed to Prove Lossy Courage. Prove Lossy Courage is not exclusive to the ambassador certificate and will be available in shop rotations and other means in the future.
Added in leaderboards.
  • The leaderboard is made available after completing Sams episode. If you have already completed her episode, it will be available for you to add to the home menu after booting up the game.
  • Currently, the plan is for leaderboards to not refresh. If the leaderboards become too static, we may introduce a monthly/weekly refresh system.
  • The leaderboards utilize your account name and profile picture.
Enzio-coins can now be used in Enzio-Pon machines to get certain treasures and cosmetics even when they are not in the current shop rotation.
  • Enzio-Pon is made available after completing Sams episode. If you have already completed her episode, it will be available for you to add to the home menu after booting up the game.
  • For now, the gachas are based around each main characters episodes and unlocked after said episodes are completed. Not all cosmetics are available to obtain from the gachas at this time.
  • Other methods of getting cosmetics outside of shop rotations will be introduced in future updates.
  • As a reminder, Enzio-Coin is earned by playing microgames and cannot be purchased with real money.

QOL Changes


  • Game speed can now be adjusted between 1x and 5x. Please be aware that some microgames may not be beatable at 5x.
  • The player can now choose to disable the microphone by selecting Disable Microphone as their source.
  • The player can now preview and adjust microphone sensitivity
  • Music and SFX volume are now fully muted when the sliders are dragged all the way to the left in settings.
  • The Game Version can now be seen in settings
  • Background music stops playing when an episode has ended. When the episode is won this occurs after the curtains close, when the episode is lost, this occurs at the same time the loss jingle plays. We hope this will better communicate that an episode has ended.

New Achievements


We have added several new PLC-dia related achievements. These achievements are checked when you Launch the PLC-Dia, and can be obtained retro-actively.
  • PLC Historian was accidentally left visible. It is now actually set when the conditions are met. There are a total of 5 treasures needed for hits.
  • Har har har har har has been added. 6 treasures are needed for this
  • Budding Collector Collect 1 treasure
  • Experienced Collector Collect 20 treasures
  • Professional Collector Collect 50 Treasures
  • The Master Set Collect all treasures. To account for the birthday treasures, this will be set if you have collected at least 96 treasures (the current number of non-birthday treasures).
  • Addicted to the Grind Max out 1 treasure
  • Hyperfocus Win Max out 5 treasures
  • Low-Key a Hoarder Max out 50 treasures
  • ADHD VIP Max out all treasures To account for the birthday treasures, this will be set if you have maxed out at least 96 treasures (the current number of non-birthday treasures).
If by the time the final game releases they are deemed too unrealistic to get, ADHD VIP and The Master Set may have their thresholds lowered. We may also opt to lower the number of treasures needed to max out a treasure. There are still other game modes we are considering adding, so we are being cautious about lowering these numbers for now. Several Freeplay-related achievements have also been added
  • I just wanted to see if it worked
  • Double Time get a score of 40 or more in freeplay
  • Double Double Time get a score of 80 or more in freeplay
  • Four Twentys and 10 get a score of 90 or more in freeplay
  • Centennial get a score of 100 or more in freeplay
Centennial is currently the highest score that gives an achievement. If scores higher than that are achieved regularly, we will add in more. Several Enzio-Pon achievements were added. You should be able to find them without help Some more achievements were added
  • Honk can be earned at some point in Juds episode
  • Keep Tapping can be earned at some point in Enzios episode
  • Significantly Worse Than Mother can be earned at some point in Carmys Episode
  • Sanity Low can be earned at some point in Pollys Episode
  • TAKE THAT VEGANS can be earned at some point in Kendras episode
We currently do not plan on adding leaderboard related achievements as they do not reset and would not be obtainable if we ever had to make the game offline only (no signs of that happening anytime soon tho)

Bug Fixes


  • Microphone selection is now properly retrieved from the players save.
  • Blowing on the mic should properly spin icons on the home menu again
  • There is no longer a small sliver of the top screen peeking out when the ES is closed.
  • The accessories screen now properly changes the screen closed image
  • A specific achievement is no longer unintentionally triggered by losing one microgame in Juds episode

Other Changes


  • Added the offline data for Aprils shop rotations.
  • Carmys cutscenes now pass the Bechdel test. (Some dialogue has changed, but she is still on the old Cutscene System)
  • A plethora of new skins, taglines, themes, and icons have been added
  • Several themes have had their accent colors updated, these were supposed to be changed prior to release and we forgot.

Whats Next


We are not going to specify a date for the next major update at this time. The next major update will, at the bare minimum, convert Carmy and Kendra over to the new cutscene system. It will likely also focus on getting every character to 10 microgames. In terms of non-major updates, an update will need to be released by the end of April to add in Mays offline shop data, and we will likely have smaller updates adding in more microgames, in addition to any necessary bug fixes. We apologize for this update missing our original target of Mid-March, one of our team members got in a car accident. Gameplay Changes:

  • Lowered the volume of "Pilk For Thought"
Internal Changes:
  • Compressed some textures. More compression will be done in the future, but this has already reduced the file size by a noticeable amount.
  • Added treasure entries for an upcoming shop highlight theme
  • While nothing is visible in-game, we have added some files for the revised cutscene system.
We are hoping to have a bigger update out in March that converts Sam's episode over to our improved cutscene system. More microgames will likely also be added in said update.

Enzio-Ware V2.0.4.2 Patch Notes

This patch aims to help with making sure players without microgames can play the game properly. The following microgames will not be added to the rotation if a valid microphone is not detected: -Can You Speak Up (Sam's Episode) -Shout (Kendra's Episode) -Bake (Carmy's Episode) -Recital & Rewind VHS (Jud's Episode) -Show You Joy (Polly's Episode) These microgames will also no longer show up in Enzio's episode at all. We believe that with the current patch, users without microphones and users who cannot connect to the remote config, should be able to play the game normally now. The root cause of the remote config issue has not been identified and we will continue to monitor bug reports. If any more issues arise they will be addressed as soon as possible.

This patch aims to remedy an issue where some people cannot connect to remote config. Ideally, players who can log in but not connect to the config will now be able to access local backups of certain features. This update also makes the log more informative for when setup issues arise.

Enzio-Ware v2.0.2-EA Patch Notes

Hello everyone! We have released a new patch for Enzio-Ware. This patch includes the following changes: --Bug Fixes-- -Offline Mode should hopefully be booted into correctly now when the game fails to connect online -Fixed an issue where a specific achievement was not set when conditions were met. --Gameplay Changes-- -Lowered the volume of the track that plays during the tutorial level We have identified an issue where some users cannot connect to the remote config service. This new update should hopefully boot said users into offline mode while we try to find a specific cause to this happening. We will release another update soon so that there is a notification when this happens and the user is notified as to why they were booted into offline mode, we just needed to make sure this was out as soon as possible.

Hello everyone! We have released a new patch for Enzio-Ware. This patch includes the following changes: --Bug Fixes-- -Kendra's Boss could attack them before the player hand control -Chosen microphone should now remain chosen after leaving the settings menu -The bottom of the Profile Picture selection list can now be scrolled properly when a high number are unlocked --Gameplay Changes-- -"Can You Speak Up" microgame has been temporarily removed from Sam's rotation as we work to make its instructions more clear -Profile Picture selection layout is now more consistent with similar menus. -"Gender Reveal" microgame is now based on picking the correct color x number of times, and not the health of the trees. We are aware of an issue where at least one user could not get passed the bootup screen. We are still trying to figure out how to reproduce it, and will push a fix once we know what the issue is.

Play through 40+ Microgames in Enzio-Ware!

In this colorful spin-off of 【Onwards! To the Furthest End!! Go Forth Supreme PLC!!!!】 you will play through the episodes of 8 fascinating characters, both new and returning, and complete microgames to help them out in their daily ongoings.

Enzio-Ware is presented in an experimental dual-screen format we're calling the 『Enzio System』 , emulating a clamshell game console from the olden days. Some microgames even require you to close the 『Enzio System』!

Even when you've finished the story mode, there is still more game to complete! Defeating bosses will reward you with treasures, and the more treasures you collect, the more your PLC-dia will fill out! New to Enzio-Ware, unlocking the same treasure multiple times can result in additional definitions unlocking, one per each character featured in story mode! Treasures drop in different rarities, and there is a high threshold to obtain the final PLC-dia entry for each one!
