New Contract Coming Soon!
The Small Warehouse is one of the smaller, newer office / warehouse buildings in charge of handling distribution for Rockfordshire Paper. Thanks to a bit of cheaping out on their part, the security systems are building specific. So you only have to take care of this one place instead of the entire complex.
This doesn't mean it'll be easy though! With 10 cameras, and three entryways for thieves; it'll be a challenge to keep on top of everything, but I'm sure you've got it!
There's now a toggleable "report helper" that, once you've made a report, highlights what is being reported. I know fans of this genre may not like this kind of change, but ambiguity in what's being reported made it seem very helpful to me. There's now audio settings! Whoops! Those should have been there on release! The player now has footsteps, I scrapped the idea during development but went back to it and found out I was 98% of the way there, just was being silly and doing it wrong.
The lobby's actually done now!
So uh, yay!

Hey, guards! In the coming weeks we'll be pushing out a new update with some nice Quality-of-Life (QOL) improvements and a new contract to play!
New Contract: Small Warehouse

Security Simulator: Nightshift is a game in the "spot-the-difference"-horror sort of mold. You use a camera system to spot "disturbances" throughout the map you're on, and report them. This game's twist is that you're in the building with the disturbances, and you can't just cozy up in your office. Your goal is to keep these disturbances at bay by reporting them. As a security guard, you also have to keep an eye on the entrances to the place you're guarding. Let a picked lock or suspicious ladder go unnoticed and you may have extra visitors. Thieves can break in throughout the night if an entrance is vulnerable, you'll have to report them too before heading over and arresting. Too many disturbances, or getting caught too close to one, may lead to a short night and not much pay. Manage everything for your whole 9-5 (PM to AM) and you'll make it out with plenty to spend. Next to the security building is a store that you can buy items from. These items help you in various ways, from flashlights that improve visibility, to snacks that give you a stamina boost! This game contains mild psychological horror, requiring the player to pay close attention to several systems, having some disturbances lock the door, and some with very humanoid appearance.
