1. The main focus in this update was on the camera, its movement and the direction of the frame. While working on the continuation of the game, we realized that it is worth bringing the reader smoothly to future in-game cutscenes. And the best way is to make an active, deep camera behavior already at the demo stage. A lot of scenes are now perceived differently, and static shots no longer drag the dynamics down.
2. We redesigned the gui: we replaced the textbox, the quick menu and added some explanations about the control lock (at the moments of cut scenes).
3. Another improvement has affected ALL the backgrounds in the game. Instead of a black and somewhat clumsy line, we made a soft and colored one. All backgrounds have improved shadow depth, additional times of day, color correction and texture. Small objects and details that characterize a particular space have also been added.
4. This version has about 20 new sounds and transits, dynamic ambient and a couple of tonic compositions.
5. All sprites received a certain color correction for each scene.
6. The sprite of the father, the sprite of Madame Giselle, the grandfather and CGs arts with the father have been completely updated.
7. Shaders have been added in several places, and the horror scene has been expanded.
8. Fixed bugs, typos in the "sponsors" section, as well as Chloe's voice acting and the behavior of the text window when navigating to locations.
9. Fixed bugs in the English localization of the game.
We plan to improve our demo before the release of the full version, as we are improving in all aspects of development while working on the latest one.
And we're not done here. Later we will talk about the release of HOPE: Winter Tale and show you some of the continuation of the game!
