In each level, you can now brew this special drink, inspired by our partner Nordmet. Learn the art of brewing by speaking with select animals who will reveal its secrets. Deliver the drink and earn double Odins coins! For those who attended Gamescom and had a taste of Nordmets brew: now you can experience it in the game! Pinning Recipes Weve added a new feature to help you stay organized! Now, you can pin essential recipes directly to your interface by using the alternate interaction with runes, giving you a clear view of your current tasks at any time. Odins Coins on the Altar The altar now shows the total number of Odins coins youve collected, making it easier to track your progress. Save up and see your achievements at a glance. Optimizations Font Updates To enhance readability in certain parts of the game, weve replaced the rune font with a standardized one. Improved Post-Processing Effects Weve refined the post-processing effects across various scenarios for an even more immersive visual experience! Hey everyone, Gamescom just ended and the experience has been amazing and I personally want to thank everyone for the amazing feedback about Viking Chef: Feast Frenzy! Due to the feedback the planned release for the Update 0.7 will be delayed a bit further to introduce some more "Quality of Life" bugfixes. There will also be a roadmap for Viking Chef: Feast Frenzy because we have decided to change some plans regarding the game. This roadmap will include features and ideas based on your feedback from this special event! You are able to visit us in Hall 10.2 (Home of Indies) during the Convention from 21st to 25th of August. There you will be able to play the upcoming Update 0.7. of Viking Chef: Feast Frenzy. Hey Folks! Time to announce version 0.7 of Viking Chef: Feast Frenzy! Great times are ahead! With the new version comes a new partnership! We are proud to announce that the German company Nord-Met will be a special partner of Viking Chef: Feast Frenzy, Yew Rune Creations, and our publisher Birnchen Interactive GmbH! As the first special feature of this partnership, we have included a new mechanic in the game to produce special goods for the gods to earn bonus coins! Each scenario will have its own special drink to produce. But with version 0.7 also comes a new look for Viking Chef: Feast Frenzy! Hey friends, It's been a while since our last developer update. The end of 2023 and January have given me a lot of time for self-reflection, especially since I had to deal more intensively with my thoughts due to my family's situation. Feast Frenzy is currently in a difficult phase. The joy of developing has somewhat diminished, due to the lack of success and the feeling of not learning anything new. I was even on the verge of throwing everything away and starting from scratch. But after many sleepless nights, I've realized that's not the solution. I must accept the decisions made and move on. I don't want to be the reason why Early Access has a bad reputation. Therefore, I've decided to finish the game - with discipline, even without the initial enthusiasm. Having a completed game, even if it doesn't achieve the expected success, makes me a true game developer. As described in the last update, I will shorten the roadmap and adjust the scope of the game, but to compensate, I will also adjust the price. Those who wish to support the game can buy it at the current price, or wait for the new, lower price. Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to read this far. Hey everyone, As I mentioned in the last Dev Update, I've decided to make some significant changes to the roadmap. To be honest, Feast Frenzy hasn't evolved into the game (in terms of gameplay) that I originally had in mind, and because of this, I feel a certain disconnect with the game. However, instead of just burying the project, I want to lead it to a decent release. Therefore, the content for the release will be altered as follows:
Hey there, Around 4 weeks ago I announced that I wanted to make weekly updates for you yeah it still didnt happen. In the last weeks I did many many retrospectives over the past development timeline. And did some decisions, how it will be go on with feast frenzy. The complete details I cant tell you know, thats something I must prepare for my self first. But one thing I can tell, the game will not be finished this year and also the content for the full release will not that one, that I imagined as Im gone into early access. Sadly I must say, that I can't move your demo progress to the Early Access. But I think you unlock fast everything by your self again!
Also keep in mind, the Early Access is still a Beta of the game. The progress reset and bugs can still occur.

With a deep, otherworldly gaze, the Seidr leaned in and shared the revelations of the gods regarding the future of "Viking Chef: Feast Frenzy". "The gods have spoken to me," he began with a voice echoing the winds of time, "and they see a world where the tales of 'Viking Chef: Feast Frenzy' will be shared in tongues many and varied. Soon, voices from the lands of the English, the Deutsch, and the Espaol, and perhaps even beyond, will echo in harmony." The Seidr paused, taking a deep breath as if drawing energy from the cosmos itself. "Moreover, the All-Father and his pantheon desire for mortals to have more control over the visual realms they traverse. Soon, a grander portal of choices will unveil, allowing one to mold the very essence of sight within the game." He then cast his eyes downward, deep in thought. "The gods also recognize the struggles of some mortals. They have decreed further enhancements, making the journey within 'Viking Chef: Feast Frenzy' even more accessible to all who wish to embark."
