That's kind of a downer sentence to run with, right? It's a cozy dinosaur platformer where you jump and stuff! Help Blaster, Lucky, Evie, Sweet Pea, and Silyk (please ignore that they are all wildly different species) as they jump, bite, swim, laser breath, and double jump across an ever-changing landscape to get home in time for dinner! Or at least to avoid the apocalypse!
- Family Friendly!: A platformer for all! Dinosaur fun for every age! Pun intended!
- Five Dino Cousins!: Each of the five controllable dinos comes with their own special ability!
- Five different enemy types!: Yes, five is a small number, but they all are dedicated to messing up your day!
- 25 levels!: From ice worlds to lava-filled spooky worlds!
\r\n\r\nSo, an update on Scarecrows of Illyria.\r\n\r\nThe rewrite will happen, and it\'ll probably be a new (free) DLC, but it\'s also.... something that has slipped as a priority. \r\n\r\nA few reasons:\r\n\r\n1) When I started the project with my co-designer, it was in the middle of a family crisis that gradually got worse and worse. It got so bad and my emotional state got so bad that I ended up making some really not great management decisions. I mismanaged the project, from the AI backgrounds (that, at the time, we had every reason to believe were not AI), to not giving the writer the proper notes that my co-designer had given me.\r\n\r\n2) The juice just isn\'t there anymore. Rather than worry over a project that all parties have agreed is the past, I\'d rather focus on the future. My co-designer and I have talked. We\'re fine. They know I tried to make things right. That I want to make things right.\r\n\r\n3) Before the story, getting the AI out of the game was the main priority. \r\n\r\nSo that\'s the update. A bit more clarity on the situation.\r\n\r\n
