The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) is a mainstream voice for animals, with active programs in companion animals, wildlife and habitat protection, animals in research, and farm animals. Together with its affiliates, HSUS works across the nation and around the world to protect all animals through legislation, litigation, investigations, education, science, advocacy, and fieldwork. HSUS also rescues and cares for thousands of animals each year, but its primary mission is to prevent cruelty before it occurs. Net proceeds from the game (sales less local sales tax, less Steam percentage) will be directed to life-saving programs for animals, permanently. This decision was made with input from our amazing Discord community, who suggested the Humane Society as a worthy recipient of our fundraising efforts.
