Fixes
Fixed multiple save data issues on all platforms. Due to this being a save data issue, old save data will no longer work on Version 1.5.1 (and future updates). Unfortunately since this issue was resulting in a practically unplayable game for some users, it needed to be fixed, invalidating all old data. However, if you would still like to play on your old save data you can use the following steps:
- Find The Acorn Bounty in your steam library
- Right Click on it and click "Properties"
- Click "Betas"
- Opt in to the branch titled "v1-5-0"
You will now be able to play using your old save data. You can opt in to new updates at any time by going back and unselected the branch. (titled "None"). I am very sorry for this inconvenience but I was not left with a choice that could benefit everyone.
Other Fixes
- Fixed collider issue in level 3-4
- Fixed some typos in dialogue and credits
- Fixed the skip dialogue button to correctly show up when the dialogue actually starts
- Fixed an issue where Phillip(bat) would get stuck in the wall or ceiling and vanish forever
- Fixed an issue where the Level 1 level name would show incorrectly when starting the game (level select)
Changes
- Balanced Fun Guy's Bubble health slightly
- Changed the boss battle: Now when Karen gets to her last phase, only 1 platform will remain
- Changed the credits to scroll a bit faster
- You can now hold right into pipes instead of having to re-touch it to enter
- Added a kill counter for each (killable) beastiary entry
- Added a small delay to invalidate a bullet once it hits the ground
This is to reduce the "that should've dealt damage" feeling with some shots, and gives some leniency when shooting enemies.

Fixes
- Fixed night level music not looping
- Fixed an issue where the mushroom wouldnt play hurt sound
- Fixed an issue where shooting the frog a fraction of a second before he sticks his tongue out would still cause him to heal
- Fixed an issue where Karen would stay blue when in the middle of an animation
- Fixed some visual bugs in the menuing
- Fixed an audio bug where the pitch wouldn't reset at the boss fight
Changes
- Balanced some enemy health stats.
- Nerfed rocket launcher particle damage
- Changed a bit of dialogue
- Updated beastiary entries to give tips on all of the enemies This will encourage actually reading the entries, making it a tip section as well as a fun collection view
- You can now pop Fun Guy's poison bubbles !!! (Highly requested) We feel this will make the game more fluid and will not ruin the difficult nature of the game. Go Crazy! They also have health bars. They will have a short "fading" animation when popped, however you cannot get hurt if you touch the bubble during this animation
New Additions
- Added a tip in the tutorial
- Added sniper scope tip to weapon select (some people couldn't figure out the scope button)
- Added health bars
If new bugs are discovered, or old ones that I do not know about, click the bug icon in the bottom left of the options menu in-game to report it!

The Acorn Bounty... What comes next?
Since some enemies heal, have a lot of health, or move around quickly, sometimes it can be difficult to know who close you are to actually killing them. Although this was originally decided to not be included because we wanted the game to be quite difficult, I think that for some enemies, it would make it a lot easier to decipher, especially when ignoring the Beastiary entries, namely the frog enemy since he will eat your bullets to heal, and that information is not available until reading the Beastiary entry. As of now the health bars will appear upon the first hit of the enemy.
Since, again, we want the game to be quite challenging, I do not think that a complete health rebalancing is necessary, however we will look into certain enemy stats and make some changes. Alternatively we may change the gun statistics as well to compensate for this.
Due to feedback we have received, another point of interest is the Fun Guy's poison bubbles. Currently, they are unkillable and must be avoided to proceed. Since the game needs to stay somewhat challenging, we are thinking about implementing a system where you are able to pop these bubbles. They may also have (Point 1) Health Bars as well.
We also intend on localizing the game for other languages! Primary languages that we will be supporting: English (original) Spanish French German Russian Other highly requested languages!

Upon release, we are eager to listen to user feedback to improve our game. So far we have a few things on the roadmap for improvements:
Planned Changes and Adjustments
