With this new update, we've added a series of improvements and new traps that will test your skills and reflexes.
What's new?
Fixes
- We've restored the lighting of the traps. Now an indicator is correctly shown that the trap is activatable.
- The scene torches now have moving particles.
- The movement of remote players has been optimized for a smoother experience.
- You will now see notifications when a player disconnects, dies, or completes the course.
- We've added a keybind system for the crouch action.
- Start competing! We're implementing an in-game scoring system so you can show off your skill and beat your friends.
- Feel the heat! We've added flamethrowers that will make you run for your life.
- Beware of the rays! The plasma cannon is a new threat you'll have to dodge.

More varied map generation
Our map generator has been enhanced to create even more challenging and unique levels. Enhanced textures: We've fixed some texture issues in the "Dungeon" map, providing a richer visual experience.
More realistic deaths
With the implementation of ragdolls, your characters will now have more detailed and realistic death animations.
More precise movement
We've removed momentum, meaning your character will stop instantly when you release the movement button.
Customize your look
Choose from a variety of skins to personalize your character! And that's just the beginning, with many more skins on the way!
Crouch and escape
The new crouch feature allows you to hide from traps and gain an advantage over the trapper.
The trapper is faster
Beware! The trapper is now more agile and will be harder to escape.

What's new in this update? Performance improvements We've optimized the network code to reduce latency and improve synchronization between players, especially on lower-speed connections. Additionally, we've adjusted the height checking for a smoother and more responsive feel. Bug fixes We've squashed several issues that were affecting gameplay, such as camera collisions with environment objects. Improved user interface The in-game objective interface has been redesigned for a clearer and more intuitive experience. Menu Sounds We have added sounds in the menus to have a response to the actions that are performed New alert We've added an alert that will notify you if there aren't enough players to start a match. Increased freedom of movement You can now move the camera vertically with your mouse! Procedural map The map is now procedurally generated making each game unique. Thank you for your support! We want to thank our entire community for your support and for reporting the bugs you've found. Your help is invaluable to us and allows us to continuously improve the game. We are thrilled to announce to all players that Danger Trail Closed Alpha Test is scheduled to begin on August 3rd.
During the first test, players will be able to experience:
- Creation of lobbies with basic options (kick, change lobby name)
- Test map with 5 traps
- Automatic selection of the reaper
- Automatic skin selection in each match
- Matches with a maximum duration of 5 minutes
- The game currently has no sound

What platforms will the test be available on?
Our first Closed Alpha Test will take place on Steam on Windows and Linux Operating system.
What should I expect during the Closed Alpha?
Participants should expect an early version of our game. The alpha will receive periodic updates that will include fixes and new features. You will be able to join us on this adventure and see firsthand how the game evolves with each update. Please bear in mind that as this is an alpha version, you may encounter bugs and incomplete features. Let us know about your experience through our official Feedback ingame or in our Discord server
How long will the test be?
The test will run from August 3rd. Over the next few months, we will be applying new updates, fixing any errors found, and adding new features.
Who can access the test?
This Closed Alpha Test will be open to participants worldwide. Given this is our first test, we aim to provide a stable and smooth experience for all players for now. As we proceed with more tests and expand our capacity. Please stay tuned to our social channels for information on subsequent tests.
