Endless Mode Added

New Mode


After finishing the game you will unlock a new "Endless Mode", accessible from the boat, where you will fight against Rogue in consecutive matches where her hand is randomized each time and looting is disabled. Here's the catch! You have to choose 6 tokens and stick with them until the end. Put together your best team and see how many matches you can win. Your highest consecutive wins are submitted to the leaderboards. Have fun!

Online PvP Matches 2.0

Updates


  • Adds the option to disable "hints" before entering a battle.
  • Final boss has been updated to create a more unique and fun challenge.
  • The Online PvP Matches has been redesigned with the following new features:
    • Adds a "?" (random) option for each board configuration.
    • Adds a "skip looting" option when looting is enabled to show mercy to your opponent.
    • Adds Emojis to let your opponent know how you feel during a match.
    • Adds a turn timer (2 minutes) per turn that will automatically forfeit a match if the timer runs out.
    • Adds a looting timer that will automatically skip looting if the timer runs out.
    • Adds notification to indicate when someone has join or left the game .
    • Adds notification to indicate when the opponent is ready to battle.
    • Adds the ability to join an online match from the Level Select.

Online PvP Matches

What's New


Online PvP Matches are now available allowing you to battle your friends in either friendly exhibition matches or test your friendship and loot their tokens! In this current version of PvP Matches, you will only be able to battle against someone on your friend's list. We do plan to open it up to anyone hosting a match but want to have room to test, fix, and tweak Online Battles before we open it up. To access PvP matches, just go into the Boat and talk to the new NPC waiting for you there. From there, you will be able to HOST or Join a game a friend is hosting. Have Fun!

Fixes / Updates


  • Fixes filters not resetting when the inventory is closed making it looked as if they were "active" when they were not
  • Fixes filters no updating the total available token pages
  • Fixes tokens in the tinkering panel not being swappable by clicking on them
  • Fixes the "Remove" button in the tinker panel not disabling itself when dragging a token
  • Fixes tokens that were "focused" when the inventory closes become "focused" again when the menu is re-opened and the cursor is not on that token.

  • We've added windowed mode!

  • The names of the regions are now visible
  • Relabeled "Beta" in main menu to "Early Access"
  • We changed the shop song to avoid twitch triggering copyright infringements
  • A region will now be marked as perfect if all NPCs on that region have been perfected

What's Next?


We are actively working on PvP, only taking breaks to address bugs/improvements as new players communicate the issues. We will be adding PvP to early access as soon as it is available as we would love the help from the community to vet out any issues we might have overlooked.     Final Region Is Now Available!

    What's New


    The final region has been added and with it the completed story and full single player experience with all unlockables. We are still in Early Access as we iron out/polish all the content and work out the features for the final release. Reminder, if you are an early access adopter, in addition to getting to play the full game early, you get a 25% off the full release price. :D

    Bug Fixed: NPC Progression Lost

    We discovered a bug that caused defeated npcs to be marked as not defeated if the game was exited by going to the title screen and clicking on the Exit button. This bug has been corrected and NPCs progression is no longer reset. Your tokens, coins, booster packs, tinkers, and unlocked regions are all still saved, only the NPCs were being marked as not defeated. If you are affected by this bug, please DMs us in discord and we will do our best to help you. Thank you and we sincerely apologize for this inconvenience.

    Swamp Region Added

    What's New?


    The penultimate region has been added bringing with it the most untrustworthy characters you will ever find. In this poisonous swamp the very passion that once drove the inhabitants have poisoned their minds to the point that nothing that they say can be trusted. Still, at their core, their souls can be saved. Are you skilled enough to not be affected by the their toxic behavior or will you too be consumed by the Swamp?

    Tundra Region Is Now Available!

    What's New?


    Join our brave messenger as they travel to the coldest region in all of Hex Island, the Tundra Region. What was once a paradise filled with beautiful meadows, flowing rivers, and warming hot springs has now been become a desolate ice-land where the only ones living there are those who wish to be left alone and perhaps welcome the impending doom. Are you skilled enough to break through their cold-as-ice hearts and restore in them the hope they once had, or will they finally meet the end they so eagerly await?

    Missing Saved Data Fixed!

    We've taken all the feedback and learnings from the Steam fest and have updated the alpha version of the game into this new early access demo.

    What's going on?


    Originally, we planned to release the game in December of 2023, but this was changed because life happens and personal matters took us away from working on the game. By God's grace, it was a minor speed bump and we are now back to full-time development. We're aiming for a release in early March of 2024.

    So what now?


    Don't fret, we won't leave you empty handed! You can expect a new demo to release this coming Friday, January 5th 2024. The upcoming demo will have a re-designed beach region, new characters, and other new surprises, so keep an eye out! We are also working with valve to make the game be available for early access and will let you know when valve allows us to do so.   • A cute and approachable turn-based deck builder/card battler that combines the battle systems from Tetra Master/Triple Triad and Pokémon. Collect, upgrade, and customize your party to strategically defeat your opponents and save them from the attack on Hex Island.


    Use your arrows to capture the opponent's tokens and convert them into your color. The player with the most tokens in their color at the end of the match wins.

    When arrows connect, a battle is triggered and dice are rolled. Battles may add risk, but allow for additional captures through combos. Element types are vital to your success, and will provide an attack boost when used against weaker elements.



    Discover different ways to outwit your opponent and secure the win. Some tokens contain Special Abilities, each with its own unique effect.


    Keep an eye out for Walls, Field Elements, Bombs, and other obstacles found on the board that can also be used to your advantage.



    Grow your collection of tokens and critters by looting your opponent after a victory, opening booster packs, and finding treasure chests.



    Tokens come in a variety of designs, elements, abilities, and arrow compositions, allowing you to create a unique party that best fits your playstyle. You can also upgrade and modify your tokens in order to have the upper hand during your next match.



    Engage in friendly exhibition matches against other players, or put your friendship to the test by looting all of their tokens! Customize the board to your advantage, or leave it to chance and adapt your strategy as you play.
