Hi everyone! I have worked hard to get some new updates and important bug fixes for A Beaver's Tale. Some folks who speed run the game, and some others who play tested brought these issues to my attention, so thank you kindly! A Beaver's Tale is better because of you :) Here is the list of improvements in version 1.1:
- The game has been upgraded to the newest, stable Godot engine version (4.3).
- FXAA anti-aliasing is now enabled for the game, removing some of the jagged edges.
- The various bugs involving saving have been fixed. This includes the "Delete Save Data" button which allows you to make a new game anywhere inside A Beaver's Tale (nice for speed runners!)
- There's a new loading screen now between the various game modes - this makes the transition much smoother.
- Buckey's movement speed has been fixed. He used to move slowly vertically, but really fast horizontally.
- Fishing has been fixed. There were some edge cases where fishes were de-spawning, making it really hard to get the fishing achievement.
- Bugs involving logs and the final cut scene have been fixed.
- Terrain flattening has been removed from build mode, since it seems people weren't using it, and it causes issues with the grass "disconnecting".
- An issue that occurred sometimes when the game closed has been fixed. This is one of the main reasons performance has really improved!

I've got another tiny update for you that packs in a few new changes. First of all, you can now go "fishing"! Well, not really. Buckey is a herbivore, so he's more into catch and release.
There's also a shiny new achievement for fishing:
Some other small things in version 1.0.2:
- Small bug fix with switching windows while game is running
- Bug fix when multiple prompts are triggered. Before, the prompt in the top right corner would just overwrite the previous one, and you could miss information. Now they are "queued" so if you trigger another one, it will just play after the current one is done

Hi everyone! I have released the first update for A Beaver's Tale! It uses "semantic versioning", meaning this patch will not break any existing game installs that are out there. A few nice quality of life updates:
- You can now dynamically change what monitor the game is playing on
- There are a number of new prompts that are added to help gameplay. Not all of it was clear

Hi beaver fans!
Just letting you all know that A Beaver's Tale will be on a 20% discount for a couple of weeks after launch!
Try to get all of the achievements!
The "neighbour" achievements are really tricky! Only a couple of players have gotten those so far.
Try out the Build Mode!
At the end of the story, you can access build mode. Share what you make in the community!

In Story Mode, you can go swimming in the river, munch down some trees, and build dams with logs.
Your Goose neighbour, Cecilothy, does not like your beaver kits running all over the place. He’s got a mean streak as long as his beak, so you’d be better off staying out of his feathers.
Build a home for your family and become a master beaver builder along the way.
In Building Mode you can fully customize the world of Buckey the Beaver. Clear a new plot of land, plant new trees, and build anything out of logs!
