Update 1.09: MODES have arrived!
CLASSIC Play solo or with a friend through a 10-stage match. Choose between Easy or Hard difficulty. RANDOM Like CLASSIC, but with a twist: stage order, platform scores, and plane start positions are randomized. Starts on Easy, but ramps up to Hard during your run. Expect the unexpected! 5-LIVES Just 5 lives - how far can you go? This is a single-player challenge that starts on Easy and keeps escalating without limit. Its tough, its wild, and its all about endurance. Good luck!
Other Additions & Tweaks:
With the introduction of these new modes, the way scores are stored had to be restructured. As a result, your local scoreboards will be reset in this update. Online leaderboards are unaffected. Your online scores and rankings remain safe. Thanks for playing Looney Landers! I hope you enjoy the new modes and rise to the challenge. - New offline and online leaderboards for RANDOM and 5-LIVES modes
- Naughty 1000pt GOTCHA bonus for knocking opponents into hazards - thanks to WYP for the awesome idea!
- Various minor tweaks and bug fixes

Following Donut Dodo and Cash Cow DX, Looney Landers is the third title in the Class of 1983 arcade trilogy.
Your mission: parachute out of a plane and land on one of the platforms inside Bozo the Clown's Castle, spread across five unique stages, to score points. But beware, Bozo has filled his home with goofy toys and quirky contraptions to throw you off course. With fewer platforms than jumps, you'll need to be quick and precise to secure your landing and outscore your rivals.
The daredevil with the most points at the end wins the game.
With moderate difficulty and simple mechanics, Looney Landers is accessible to anyone who enjoys classic arcade action. Single play sessions typically last just a couple of minutes, making it perfect for quick, fun challenges.
