I heard y'alls feedback in regards to the emerging story not being overly clear in the Bridgebourn demo. Bridgebourn isn't just an ARPG. It's focused on having a unique, crazy and bold story in an immersive fantasy world. So, I decided to move the ending in the demo a bit further out to include more exposition and what I think is a more meaningful place to leave the journey hanging. As a bonus, this will include a location where you can get a mount! Now if you don't mind, I'll be back on the grind (to get more Bridgebourn into your hands). Stay on the lookup for my updates! Happy treasure hunting!
Available in the demo, you can now play with 4 people total! It's local-coop based, so you choose someone's client and save file as a host. However, using Steam Remote Play, it's basically multiplayer! Just plug in some controllers/invite steam friends on Steam Remote Play, load up a save file, and activate the other players in the Co-Op menu found on the Pause menu! Happy treasure hunting!
I was able to get access to a Steam Deck for a bit and patched out the bugs pertaining to Steam Deck and other hand held gaming devices. The bugs included interacting with UI and party manager mode with the mouse cursor via joystick, and a crash at the Aghash boss fight. If you ran into issues previously, please give it another try! Only issue withstanding is the game uses Xbox button icons regardless of controller used. Also fixed a crash for any device that had no audio source. Let me know if you run into any more issues, thanks!

What a Launch!
Wow, this has been a LONG time in the making! 1 week ago, after 8 years of development, I deployed the demo of Bridgebourn. I can't express how crazy it has been. Seeing people play it and share their thoughts has been surreal!
As expected, some issues and bugs came up. I've been carefully watching and updating the demo as necessary. The latest build should be a lot better. If you run into any issues or have any suggestions, please let me know. I want Bridgebourn to be the best game it can possibly be.
What's Next?
I've been fixing issues in the demo as well as working on post-demo content for the full release. I hate to cut the demo so short, because I've been working on such cool new content that I'd love people to play with! Mounts, sailing the seas, open world content, etc...
But don't fret! The demo is packed full of content, and is replayable too! Try to find some cool mythical gear, or create some crazy custom abilities! Additional demo content may be introduced in future versions if it seems necessary - will play by ear.
How Can You Help? How to Stay Up to Date?
Bridgebourn needs your help! Simply spreading the word, wishlisting the game, staying tuned for updates and giving feedback to me goes so far to help with the development.
I'm constantly posting updates as I work on Bridgebourn, whether it be the Discord server, Twitter, etc... I'm planning on creating a mailing list and will announce that here and there.
Grab your arms and loot sack, adventurer. We're going treasure hunting! Bridgebourn will have a huge announcement at Realms Deep 2023! Tune in on September 30th. Saturday, September 30th 2023, live show airing at 8 PM CEST / 2 PM ET / 11 AM PT.
