Hello again, everyone! We've got some great news for you and a new update for The Unexpected Quest. Let's start with the first one. We're excited to announce that the game is now available on all platforms! The update will be released on Nintendo Switch on September 26th, and from September 27th it'll be available on the PlayStation Store for PS4 and PS5, as well as on the Microsoft Store for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. If you'd rather play from the comfort of your couch, it's time to embark on an adventure with the Dwarf Sailors!

With the latest patch, our game has reached verified status for Steam Deck! We are very happy about this! We hope you will be interested in playing it in portable mode as well. In addition, there were these fixes:

• Some in-game text has been changed to match the way the game is played with the controller.
• Removed vertical sync in the game and added a frame limit option instead.
• Small changes to the Compendium, namely the wallpaper widget.

What a way to start the week: the Unexpected Quest update is out now! This free update comes with additions to the Graphics, Game, and Sound tab such as the highly requested disabling of characters mumbling during cinematics. It also introduces the new Tales mode with the initial two tales focussing on battles. You are able to choose from 3 difficulty levels but beware unlike in Story mode, this time around you can lose. Want a list of the changes coming your way with the update? Well since you asked, heres the full breakdown: Settings Dialog

• Tabs for different settings
• In the 'Graphics' tab, in addition to the image quality, it is now possible to change the screen resolution separately
• In the Sound tab, it is now possible to disable the mumbling of characters during cinematics
• In the Game tab, you can now change the size of the interface

• After clicking on Play, we can choose a new mode Tales

• Unlike in Story mode, here you can lose
• The first 2 tales are dedicated to battles: The first one will have you fighting off waves of enemies every night whereas the second one challenges your ability to fight lots of enemies with few warriors at your disposal
• Choose from 3 difficulty levels

Hello adventurers! The release is nigh, and we wanted to share a sneak peak of the latest chapter of Unexpected Quest with you! First, we would like to introduce enemy nests to you. Unless you destroy those nests, enemies will keep on swarming from there, wasting your precious time and resources. Be sure to be properly equipped!
Next, there are the Towers of Death! The legend says that not even the strongest shield can protect you from its power. You will have to find a way to disable them if you want to reach home. Will you be able to do so?
Finally as you can see in the image header, there is a new character coming that looks suspiciously like a bad guy... You will meet him at the end of the chapter, so let's hope you're prepared! And thats it for today! See you soon, in an Unexpected Quest!
