Warcat Parade won't be updated. However, there will be a sequel! I failed the communication. For the second game, I plan to communicate during the production and not afterwards. Price of the game has been lowered to 5.99 catnips - from 9.99 catnips. I have ten Steam keys to distribuate, I think about a way to distribute them.

What's next?

Warcat Parade has been developed with Unity Engine. The development started in 2021. In the meantime, a lot of bad buzzes lowered the reputation of Unity and Warcat Parade has almost been aborted. As a consequence, the sequel will be developed with Godot Engine, even if it implies I will need to learn to use a new game engine. As mentioned before, I really failed the communication for Warcat Parade 1. I developed the game while I had harsh personal issues so the production has been made on high voltage. Also, I have to admit, I was really stuck in the past. Nowadays, you can't develop a game alone in your basement, release in on Steam and wait for the feedbacks! So, what will happen for Warcat Parade 2? I plan to communicate during the production process and not too late, on collaborative platforms. The only bad point is: I am a developer and I have almost no skill in communication - you know the clich huh, I was the kid in school who had no friends. Wish me luck! That will mean the future community, - that means you -, will be surely be a part of the production so I will take the correct decisions! More info coming soon, but I am already preparing stuff for Warcat Parade 2 and that will be a bullet hell as... Hell. Hefka

Hi, nyan! URGENT BUG FIX + The game was not launching! Oops! Since this is my first time on Steam, this kind of bad stuff had to happen. Luckily I'm done with newbie mistakes! BALANCE + Decreased difficulty for boss 1 phase 3. + Decreased difficulty for level 1. + Starting a level (from level 2 and so on) gives you 2 bombs (previously 1). Capped at 9. + White cat playstyle is now stronger. FIXES + Some bug fixes. + Some severe bugs have been fixed, which means... ADDITIONS + Achievements are now triggered! Nyan! Hi, Hefka here. I apologize for the first buyers. I am awars the game was really too hard. Of course, a danmaku is supposed to be hard but it was clearly unfair. Therefore! The urgent fixes ! + Bullets of the protagonist are now stronger, for both "white cat" and "black cat" playstyles. The progagonist is 20% stronger. + Decreased difficulty in the beginning of level 1 by removing some foes. + Decreased difficulty for boss 1 phase 3. + Revamped a bullet appearing in level 3 - the one spat by the bats. + Enemies explodes! That's just cosmetics. + Starting from stage 2, bosses have way less HPs, which make them more fun and less tanky and less repetitive. What's next ? I am doing a trip to Japan in some days so I won't be able to update the game. This fix was urgent so I had to do it right away. Before I start to think about Warcat Parade 2, I plan to make some updates, bot minor and major, so stay tuned! Nyan, nyan, pew pew pew! Hefka

Game is released!

How it will evolve. Nyan nyan, pew pew pew! Hello you little nekopunks! I am stressed and I am over anxious. I worked like a madman on this game and I made it all alone, so I don't even know if the game is good or bad. I'm stressed. I hope you'll like it!

How the game will evolve?

First things first, I wonder if the game is maybe not too difficult. I mean, come on, this is a bullet hell, it's meant to be hardcore. But after the last tests before release, no wonder I went really too far. Therefore, this is highly probable I'll post an update soon with a massive rehaul of difficulty, especially in level 1, and that I mahe the "White cat" playstyle slightly stronger. About me. This game has been made with Unity and the project has started in 2021. This engine generated a severe bad buzz in September 2023. So if I develop a sequel, I can tell it will be developed in Godot Engine. Along the planned updates, I also plan to remake the hiscores panel in game, so the "normal difficulty" scores are not mixed with the harder ones. Also, I plan to make a major update with a new feature : bonuses and maluses, to make the game easier or harder and alter the score, for the most hardcore of you who want the hi-score ! :D Hefka

Hi, dear nekomata ! I have an awesome new for you! The bug I discovered - Well, more like the bug that has been reported by Steam... - was critical but not that hard to fix! That means it has already been fixed! Therefore, I'm pleased to announce the game is officially ready for public release, nyaa! That means the game has been delayed once, but it won't be delayed twice!

How do i feel?

To be honest, I don't really know how I am supposed to feel. This is the first time I am publishing a game on Steam. I already made some games and published them on itch but it was mostly short game for jams. I worked like a madman on Warcat Parade, so much so much. I don't even know if my game is good or not now... I am aware the game have a high difficulty and I can't stop thinking maybe I did it wrong for ages. I am over-stressed but at least this is done now! Release date: September 1st! Theoriginal soundtrack will be released September 30th, by the way >_< Nyan!
