Hello everyone! Thank you for checking out Blood & Play during the GameDevs of Color Expo Showcase and Steam Event. We're so honored to be in such great company, and we hope that you enjoy giving our short little demo a whirl.
If you've noticed though, we're a little slim on assets the backgrounds still need to be hand-rendered and colored, and there's really only a few music tracks. Our team is fantastic but our budget is extremely limited, and we can't make games if we can't pay rent. We believe that Blood & Play is a story that desperately needs to exist. We did our research and asked around, and everyone we talk to can't really think of another game featuring trans masc characters quite like this (besides the same five titles we've already seen and played). And even then, a lot of these titles don't really depict trans men of color in relationships with trans men of color. These games don't exist right now not because there's no demand for them there's just not enough precedent for them yet. That's why we're turning to you for help. If you're excited for Blood & Play, we'd like to ask you to follow the Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page so we can fund more assets for the project. We want to make the game the best it can be for you.
