The first ending cutscene lighting and reflections have been fixed. The third ending will also start properly now. The UI has been vastly changed, there's now a consistent color scheme; yellow, white, and black. The minimap now has an outline and the lamp energy now has a battery icon to indicate it's for the headlamp and map. The numbers on the itembar now have a different font. All levels now have this updated UI. Minor Changes: Upon collecting a key and saving your progress the main door generator will be accounted for in the save file. Tryian will now randomly teleport near the player while he is active. The descriptions of the extra gamemodes have been altered slightly. The font of the timer in the extra gamemodes has been changed. Sounds that Tryian hears have been increased. Tryian can now clip/move through fences. Have you had this dream before?
You wake up in a strange place, the air is heavy and dense. Tall green walls surround you, a purple sky... no, purple mist hangs above you. In the distance a clock chimes, maybe a voice calling out to you. Something moves in the fog.In this puzzle-adventure horror game you must solve puzzles and find special items to escape in one of four ways in a dreamscape-like maze. A playful and malicious creature stalks through the hedges, hearing and seeing everything. It moves quick, stay out of its way and sightline. Find useful items to navigate the maze and unlock areas, or fighting the creature. Manage your limited items and defenses to keep yourself alive.
The Nightmare
A giant hedge maze with interactables scattered around, the layout of the maze is unchanging but items and puzzles are slightly randomized. Every piece has its puzzle, every item you find is useful. There is a threat, the forest goes silent when a predator is around. Don't let it hear or see you, it is unlikely you will escape. Use noise and sound to your advantage, you'll hear it before it can hear you.Locate items to scare it away, even if for a moment. Ration your defenses, each item can used in multiple ways and some defense items are required for puzzles.
Extra Info
Controls are explained in the options menu, everything else is exploratory or hinted through voicelines and color coding.Collectables can be found in the main menu.
Only specific events and triggers will auto save progress, manual saving requires a specific item and interactable in the map. Average playtime is 1 to 2 hours, this will likely change person to person based on navigational and memorization ability.
If the game opens on the wrong monitor turn off fullscreen and move the application window to the correct screen, then reenable fullscreen. Credits are unlocked after completing at least one playthrough; there are four "endings" which are shown in the main menu.
