




Added some quality-of-life elements to the game:
Gameplay Additions:
- Added a new control mapping menu to the controls section of the pause menus, allowing you to change controls for the vehicle.
- Added a new Radio function to allow you to switch radio tracks when driving.
- Added a camera shake slider to change the intensity of the camera shake while driving.
- Added a spotlight in Midnight City near the warehouse area in the shortcut, for slightly better visibility of the shortcut.

This update will be a combination of minimap adjustments and map additions! Below are the notable changes:
Minimap Adjustments
- Icons now scale to a larger size for better visibility.
- Icons will fade out if they are behind the player, preventing UI clutter.
- The next checkpoint icon is brightened slightly for easier detection.
Map Creator Race Additions
Race Creator Mechanic Use: When placing race checkpoints, the first placed object becomes the starting/discovery point. Every subsequent point becomes a checkpoint for the race. Prizes and difficulty levels (e.g., time constraints or drift score requirements) will be auto-generated based on the race lengthspecifically how many checkpoints exist and which stages you have unlocked. When you exit the creator menu, the race is finalized and added to the map.
- Added a creation option for Time Trials

- Added a creation option for Sprint Events
- Added a lighting menu to adjust the maps daytime lighting

Made some changes to the minimap for better navigation: Minimap
- Shop, event, and checkpoint icons now appear along the edges of the minimap when theyre off-screen.
- When a checkpoint is currently active in a race, the next checkpoint now has its own indicator.
- Lights/flares no longer turn on in Newport (since its daytime), but their emission remains visible.
- In a late-stage Speed Capture race in Neolectric, the race was incorrectly labeled Endpoint. This has now been fixed.

New addition to the game which is the map creator! Inside the mods menu, you'll now have an option to go to create a map. The map creator is currently just for driving around in, but gives you tools to create roads, buildings, props and such. You'll be able to upload / download maps on mod.io as well! Maps can be accessed in the garage menu. New Additions:
- Map creator, build your own maps and drive in them!
- Download and upload maps from mod.io
- Adjusted the gear ratio on a few vehicles.
- Can change how close your view is via dpad up on controller or scrollwheel up on mouse, ranging from close, mid and far.

Added a couple new settings that can be adjusted in menus: New Settings:
- Added a new mph setting that toggles on/off the gauge reader to read the speed in mph or kph.
- Added a new difficulty slider that enhances or downgrades the enemy AI vehicles.
- Fixed an issue in the end game stage mirror race of Newport, should now end on the last checkpoint.
- Adjusted the mall in Hood Rock, making adjustments to some lighting and adding a few things.
- Added a gear reader in the gauge that tells you what gear the car is in.

Made some settings adjustments to the game, added manual shifting through the new 'automatic shifting' variable, pause menu has been redone a bit to add more buttons. Changes will be listed below: New Settings:
- Added an 'automatic shifting' variable in settings, if toggled off then manual shifting will be available in the game.
- Changed the leave button function to exit to the menu rather than go to the garage.
- Added a button specifically for going back to the garage.
- Added graphics menu to the pause menu, adjustments can be made during gameplay now.

Drifting mechanic has been reworked as a whole. More changes have been made as well via city additions and some AI adjustments. Will list out changes below: Drifting Mechanic changes:
- Vehicle physics have been adjusted when drifting, aimed at making drifts more fluid.
- Scoring has been adjusted, points are less forgiving for burning out now but are more forgiving for wider drifts.
- Camera has a slower rotational effect when following the vehicle in drift modes.
- There is now an added multiplier when wider drifts are made, multiplier will change color to orange when in effect.
- Smoke effects become larger when in drift mode
- AI has been adjusted to be faster in highway races, some races have been adjusted with modified AI racing lines.
- Neolectric city additions, new buildings have been added in place of some construction areas near the warehouse area. Some buildings have been adjusted and/or modified as well in other areas.
- Fixed issue where drift event UI would appear in photo mode.

Worked on some more handling improvements, specifically the turning portion. When turning, hitting the brake or handbrake will increase the turning velocity.

Demo has now been updated with a new intro sequence! This includes some new cinematics that walk you through joining the league, and also includes an end game vehicle in the introduction in a later map, being Hood Rock. The goal being to give the user a better idea of what the later end game content will be, along with giving some more context to the story of you joining the league. Feel free to check it out!

SRK demo is available! For those curious, the demo has been out for about a month at this point, but was working on some changes before making a post on it. The demo goes through the first stage and city, allowing you to explore the main aspect of the game. 4 shops are available, 8 cars to choose from in the car lot, 5 event types, and a boss event!
