Thank you to everyone who has been playing Enso and speed running it recently. I've had a lot of fun watching your runs over on SpeedRun.com/Enso This update adds a few quality of life improvements.
Accessibility!

A user kindly asked me if it would be possible to add an option to darken the background of the game. I can understand wanting to do this as in the lower portion of the game, even though the sunrise is beautiful, it is very bright! In the Settings Menu, you can now find a toggle to darken the sunrise.
Steam Recording Timeline
I have added support to display game events as markers when recording your gameplay directly via Steam. (This is now my preferred method by the way!)

Here is a list of the markers that will show up on the timeline, along with different coloured shading on the timeline to indicate when you are in the menu/paused and when you are playing:
- Run started.
- Checkpoint reached.
- Run completed.
- Achievement earned.
Bug fixes
- The game now pauses when you open the Steam Overlay.
- Fixed a bug where the cursor was not correctly locking to the game window when restarting the level.
- Fixed the "" not showing up properly in some French translations.

Embark on a journey of mastery in Enso, a captivating precision platformer that will require a perfect balance of skill and serenity in order to overcome the parkour challenges that await you.
Slingshot Enso up the terrain using just your mouse, and discover new movement techniques as you progress.
Falling is an essential part of this game, however, so is picking yourself back up and trying again. I believe in you!
Enjoy:
Challenging physics platforming.
Launching, bouncing, sticking, and spinning your way to the top.
A minimalistic Japanese inspired art style.
Great music that adapts to your gameplay.
Smooth and precise mouse controls.
Falling back down and getting to start all over again!
Note:
Thanks for checking out my game! I'm Eddy, the solo creator of Enso. I've been enjoying watching the Foddian and rage type games grow in popularity, and wished to contribute to that game genre.
Even though Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy was a direct inspiration for Enso, and I have much respect and admiration for that game, I on the other hand do not wish to hurt you... too much ;)
A little word on "Ensō":
It is the Japanese creative practice of using ink to paint a circle in one fluid stroke, and is part of Zen Buddhism. Just like the challenge in my game, the ensō is its own merit and its own reward.
