Hey Adventurers, What started as a fun idea turned into an exciting adventure thats about to start a new chapter. Geo Mythica is finally getting ready for release. Whether youve been with us from the beginning, tagged along from Adventures of Chris or recently joined the adventure, were excited for you to finally play this globetrotting adventure and make your mark in its world.

More than an RPG

Geo Mythica is more than just an RPG; its a journey that celebrates exploration, discovery, and the appreciation of Earths hidden wonders. Every party member brings a unique playstyle, allowing you to experiment with different strategies while keeping battles fast-paced and dynamic. Its hard to believe we already started a new year. After recovering from the holiday festivities, progress with Geo Mythica has been ramping up and Im excited to share some details.

Beta Playtest going strong

Everyone who signed up for the beta playtest has been super helpful with their feedback. From identifying small bugs to sharing comments, I was able to make a lot of progress with the game.

So whats been updated?

Well, a lot. Heres a quick breakdown!

• Some of the more notable updates include new difficulty settings such as Hard for no Reason and Ridiculously Easy.
• Others include quality of life features like reassigning spells or not having hotkeys automatically change when party members leave/join.
• And one in particular Im fairly keen on is language learning quizzes, a fun new addition. (Hey, its not Babbel, but its still fun!)

Outside of your typical bugs, minor tweaks and typos, that pretty much sums things up!

But wait, theres more

As we continue to refine Geo Mythica during the beta playtest, well be attending MAGFest again this year, which were particularly excited about!
As youd expect, the anticipation of meeting new friends, connecting with old ones and having fun as we get feedback on our newest build is exciting. However, this event the MAGFest Orchestra will be performing one of Geo Mythicas songs, the airship theme titled Let the World Be Wrong! (If youd like a preview, heres a clip from the OST you can listen to) So if youre able to attend, stop on by and say hi at booth 11 and check out the live performance! As we continue making steady progress with Geo Mythica, we felt it was time to release an updated demo. This includes new features, improvements and fresh content! So whether you played it a while ago or havent downloaded it yet, nows the perfect time to dig in.

Whats New in the Demo?

Bug fixes aside, we added content and quality of life features that not only improves the experience, but extends game play a little too. Heres a snapshot of what weve done. Atlas Menu: With the Atlas menu, you can now keep track of collectible items youve found in each location, helping you identify anything you may have missed on your journey.
The Frog of Completion: Whenever you collect all items in a specific location, the Frog of Completion in Mexico rewards you with a permanent stat boost for the character you choose!
Updated Narrative Content: The first dungeon has additional content which sets up the overarching narrative better while getting you familiar with new strategies to use on your adventure. PLEASE NOTE: In light of the latter, we want to call out that you wont be able to use any save states made before beating the first area (San Luis Obispo). This should have minimal impact as it takes approximately 15 to 25 minutes to complete the first area.

As we continue to refine Geo Mythica, were preparing for a limited open beta playtest. So stay tuned for more details soon on how you can help us shape the final experience of Geo Mythica. Until then, have fun with the new demo!

What else?

In addition to the demo update, Geo Mythica will also be attending a couple of events we highly encourage you to check out and share with your friends. Be a Hero event hosted on Steam presented by Comic-Con Stuttgart is happening now until December 6th. Showcasing lots of games featuring heroes going on a variety of adventures, we were honored to be part of the line up in this exciting event.
MAGFest has graciously allowed us to exhibit the game once more. The team is eager to get back to the showroom floor to meet old friends, make new ones and share more updates and progress with Geo Mythica. If you plan on attending, stop by and say hi. The Geo Mythica demo is finally here!

In light of our participation in the Alberta & Beyond, Pixelated, and RPGDirect events on Steam, Im excited to announce that the Geo Mythica demo is now available! This demo is packed with fast-paced, action-packed adventure, giving you plenty to explore and a generous bite-sized chunk of what Geo Mythica is all about. In addition to the demo, Ive created a new trailer featuring new areas, dungeon battles, and Ninja Gaiden-inspired cutscenes, which you can check out on the Geo Mythica Steam page or on Guin Entertainment's YouTube Channel. In the meantime, Ill be focusing on development and getting ready for a closed beta.
