Today, we introduce a new class that could make all the difference between staying afloat and meeting a watery grave. Meet the Stevedore, whose mastery of ship maintenance keeps the vessel in fighting shape even in the harshest conditions.

Every ship takes damage, but not every crew can endure. Stevedores specialize in two crucial skills that set them apart from the rest. While any sailor can remove water from a flooding deck, a Stevedore does it with unmatched efficiency. They bail out more water in a single action than any other crewmember, keeping the ship from sinking even in the direst situations.

Once part of the Royal Army, they are now deserters who formed their own bands of free pirates. Each crew pursues a different goal: treasure, plunder, revenge Their naval tactics are as varied as their ambitions, ranging from direct assaults to cunning schemes. Hardened by a life at sea, they pose a great threat to the navys rule. Ahoy, captains! Are you ready to stand against the navy and claim your freedom in Red Rogue Sea? Youd better be prepared, because the survival rate wont be high! Each faction in Red Rogue Sea will have several captains available (and unlockable). Captains add two copies of a captain card to your tactical deck. These cards are powerful and unique, giving a distinctive specialization to your gameplay strategy.
Sharpen your tactics by combining them with other synergistic cards, and build your deck around them to maximize a specific playstyle. You wont find two captains alike, so make sure to unlock them all by completing certain milestones during the game with the corresponding faction. Today we introduce the first captain of the Merchants faction: Razdal. Razdal served for years as a mercenary before enlisting, so he maintains contacts with his former comrades-in-arms. With him, you can include the Mercenary card in your deck, granting access to a mercenary who will fight for you for a limited number of combat rounds. [table] [tr] [td]

Bang! lets you wield a variety of firearms to attack or defend yourself.
Take the musket, for examplea weapon perfect for picking off crew members from enemy ships at a distance, keeping you out of harms way. However, it cant be used at close range, so keep your distance! Then theres the blunderbuss, an ideal choice for close combat. Its short range is more than made up for by its sheer stopping power, capable of pushing back any enemy that dares cross your path. And if chaos is what youre after, the incendiary grog is your best friend. Meet The Thug!

Emerging from the darkest alleys and most treacherous ports, the Thug has survived a life filled with hardship and tough choices. Once a brawler in the seediest taverns, he now channels his raw strength and cunning into your quest for plunder. Ahoy, gamers! This week, we're introducing the second of the six crew member classes available at launch: the Thug.
The Thug is a brawler who excels at close-quarters combat. He can be deployed to board enemy vessels and storm fortifications, or to defend your ship from would-be attackers. He's especially useful when playing cards such as Brawl!, amplifying the effect of these tactic cards. The Thug will also unlock some intimidation actions during your adventure events.

Make decisions that impact the outcome of various events and the overall narrative. Sail from island to island on a map of randomly generated nodes, making each game unique.
