It's been a while since we last shared updates with you, and that's because we've been hard at work to bring the full version of our game closer to launch! Were thrilled to finally share some exciting news with you!
During Steam's Tower Defense Fest, we released a brand-new, updated demo. This version not only improves gameplay flow and details but also introduces multiple new localization languages (including Chinese, Japanese, and more). Even now, we are seeing new players downloading the demo and adding IDUN to their wishlist. Were truly grateful for your ongoing support!
Some of you may have already noticed the major revamp of our Prologue store page. Were excited to announce that well be launching our free Prologue ahead of the full games release!
This Prologue is not just a repeat of the demoits a completely free, standalone experience featuring a unique rogue-lite arena mode (whereas the main game will center around its story-driven campaign). In this Prologue, youll be thrown into the heart of the swarm. Survival is the only strategy that matters!
The rogue-lite strategy gameplay featured in the Prologue will also be included in the full game at launch, alongside the full story campaign. So, we truly hope youll give the Prologue a try as it will offer a fresh and unique experience compared to the current demo. Were incredibly excited to hear your thoughts once you dive in!

What
Circle Select allows you to quickly and efficiently select multiple turrets with a simple click-and-drag motion. This makes moving a lot of stuff way easier.

Why
Its been requested more than once, to be able to move many things at the same time. Imagine you want to fall back to defend the Deep Drill or cover another flank, But, it is not as easy as it sounds to implement a system to move several buildings at the same time. What happens if there is no valid position, or when finding a new valid position another building also wants to move there? I also have the design goal for the game to be playable with just one mouse button, to maintain accessibility. The solution was easy for me, I just made John do it! It was not easy for John though. : ) Big shout out to John who did the majority of the work!
Nordic Game
As a side note, I showed IDUN at Nordic Game here in Sweden. It was great fun as always to lure people in that normally don't play RTS games, and see them killing their way to a close success in the end. Lots of high fives. : )

We are thrilled to announce that our game is participating in the Steam Tower Defense Festival. It's an honor to showcase our new achievements alongside other tower defense games, and this time we're bringing a brand new, polished IDUN demo that we hope you'll love!
Our game combines the elements of RTS and tower defense, offering a truly unique experience! The new demo will include some levels from the full version, allowing you to get a sneak peek of the gameplay.
In addition to English, French, German, and Spanish, we have also added new language support for Chinese and Japanese, and we will continue to add more localized languages to the best of our abilities in the future.

It is finally time to reveal the new meta game. The Space Station!
You will be able to build and upgrade a variety of rooms. As you invest in farms, factories, storage, and weapon systems, you will witness tangible changes on the station 3D model, inside and outside.
Missions yield resources that are essential on the station. These resources are later enhanced into higher tier items onboard the station.
We might add so you can interact with the story characters onboard the space station. Engage in conversations, learn more about their backgrounds, and witness their daily lives.

I have long toyed with the idea how cool it would be to add a Top Down Shooter / Bullet Heaven style mission type to IDUN. So now I did, and it feels awesome. : )
