Hi everyone!
Thank you so much for buying Horizons: The End Of Words! A lot of work went into this game, and it's really gratifying to see people are enjoying it!
Despite a short beta we did before the release, it looks like we still missed a couple of bugs, so this patch aims to fix that! We also heard that the game had a weird issue on Steam Deck where the mouse cursor couldn't go everywhere on-screen. This patch should fix this, but if the issue persists, going into the settings and manually turning fullscreen on should fix it.
If you find any more issues, please help us out by reporting it on our Discord, it's the easiest place for us to keep track of them.
Here is the full changelog for this patch:
[BUGFIX] Fixed a bug where you can draw letters with zero oxygen if you have letter vision above 0
[BUGFIX] Ghost structures under planets are now properly removed, used to cause crashes when such a structure's mission was completed
[BUGFIX] Selecting more than 2 letters with Sappho won't freeze the game anymore
[BUGFIX] Now showing the proper text instead of empty_cryo
[BUGFIX] Changed the default window size for when fullscreen is disabled
[BUGFIX] Screen zoom is now dynamic, depending on the window size
We hope you're enjoying the game!
See you around space authors!

Explore outer space with your word-finding skills.
You are dealt a handful of letters and must make words on an empty grid. Letters replenish with oxygen after you use them, and so you have to make new words, to find new oxygen. The grid might not be empty anymore but don't fret, it is as boundless as the universe itself. Oxygen on the other hand...
Your quest is to find 10 planets. The spirits of human authors of eons past will provide inspiration, in the form of actual gameplay bonuses, to help you along on your wordy journey. Your lexicon might even bring you far enough to find space stations and the aliens who dwell therein. They too may help you on your travels, for a price.
Plays entirely with the mouse. A run may last for a couple of hours. Features a save system.
