Wow! It's been quite the journey just getting here, but the Radventure Demo has officially launched! If you haven't already, head on over and download it for FREE! It's a fun little playthrough of the first full area of the Radventure game, and it holds more than a few secrets and interactions... CAN YOU FIND THEM ALL?! Now that our little slice of insanity has been released into the wild, keep an eye out for our upcoming Kickstarter campaign. The purpose of this campaign will be to hire additional artists to help with asset creation and speed up the production process overall. If that sounds interesting to you, feel free to stop by the landing page and give us a follow so you can be notified when the campaign goes live. Ultimately though, we really just want to thank anyone who gives our silly little demo a download, play... or really just even looks in our direction. You guys rock. -Jeff

About Radventure:
Radventure is a Comedy Adventure/RPG that utilizes a 2.5d (HD2D) style for exploration. Hand painted 2d objects and Characters are placed in a 3d environment and enhanced using modern game engine lighting and particle effects. Additionally, Radventure utilizes high fidelity TTRPG inspired character renderings and splash images during dialog and cutscenes to further immerse the player in the narrative.
Combat:
Radventure utilizes an “Active-Turn Based” combat system, so when an enemy is encountered, combat begins seamlessly in the game environment.
Exploration:
Interacting with an object or NPC can result in several outcomes, from gaining items and experience, to triggering unique cutscenes, VO options, and dialog scenes.
Story:
From the moment Radventure begins, it is apparent that this is not a normal narrative. After a brief argument between the main character and narrator during the opening cut scene, players find themselves in the role of Ryle, a Half-Elf Rogue in a traditional fantasy setting.
Ryle begins his journey in “The Dumpin’ Grounds”, a derelict graveyard, with a simple goal... To find the grave of his old adventuring partner Dwemmit... and piss on it.
This “simple” task quickly becomes more complex as Ryle is attacked by an assassin near Dwemmit’s grave! Uncovering a plot by some mysterious benefactor to kill off him and all his adventuring associates, Ryle must follow the threads to find out who is behind this sinister murder plot... and murder them.
Along the way Ryle visits several unique locations, meets a multitude of quirky characters, and may go on any number of optional side quests.
Will Ryle uncover the mastermind of his demise and put an end to this unsavory assassin business? Well... I mean, yeah... the game does have an ending.
