All you need to do is update your game! Congratulations to everyone on this event! Honestly, I'm incredibly excited. I've put a lot of hard work and time into this Act. I hope it doesn't disappoint you. I will duplicate again the content of Act 2: 2,423 renders (not counting renders for eventing during free movement) 71 animations 35 new music tracks (including a few of my own) 36 new sound effects Significantly improved image quality compared to Act 1. Let me also remind you about the translation. I would like to ask you to give feedback on its quality. On this will depend on further cooperation with this translator. It's been months of hard work, at times very exhausting due to my main job. Unfortunately, I don't yet have the financial ability to completely quit my job to focus solely on game development. Hey, everybody! We're just a little bit away from release. So I want to share the content/statistics of the game. The second act has a lot of branches. It's impossible to watch them all in one playthrough. I've added some puzzles (if you can call it that) that will require attentiveness. Added a social network, content in which, will be updated as you progress through the game. The game itself contains: 2,423 renders (not counting renders for eventing during freeroaming) 71 animations 35 new music tracks (including a few of my own) 36 new sound effects Significantly improved image quality compared to Act 1. Professional English translation. I really ask you to give feedback on the translation. The service cost me quite a bit of money, so I want you to give your feedback on the work done by the translator. This will determine whether I will continue working with him, or whether I will have to find someone else. I'm still finalizing some minor details that are more related to visuals, but not much at all. Looking back I realize that a lot of work has been done. I learned a lot and made some important discoveries for myself. And already now I realize what I want to add new things in the next acts. I'm still an amateur beginner. But the passion for creating is being fueled more and more Showcasing your work is always exciting. Especially when the expectations of others are placed on you. Greetings everyone, it's time for news on the progress of Act 2. All the news today will be positive, which I'm very happy about. I hope you are too. I have completely finished creating the animations for the hot scenes. Because of that, the development speed has increased significantly. Now I'm fully focused on rendering the art for the story itself. And, I hasten to tell you, there's not much rendering left to do. Yes, there is still code writing, post-processing, beta-testing, translation (I'll tell you more about it below), but it will all be done much faster, unlike rendering. So I can see a horizon for completion of the work. I can't give any release date for Act 2 yet, but I think it will be possible soon. Don't miss it! Now about the translation. I know that the translation of Act 1 is far from perfect, That's why I asked a professional English translator. Yes, the second act will be released with a good translation. After the release of act 2, there will be a normal translation of act 1 as well. I have some issues with the mini-games, but I'm sure I will definitely solve them before release. Hello, my friend! It's time to share the news. I won't take too long. First of all, I decided to finish the animations for the hot scenes. At the moment 60 animations are ready. I need to do ~7 more, and a few animations that don't involve smutty scenes. Creating animations, as well as processing them, always takes up most of my work time, so I decided to focus on that initially. Made and processed 1012 static story frames, plus frames for minigames and free movement. Some sprites I drew from a complete 0, that takes time too. Writing the story code, working out the branching. Text/dialog adjustments. At the moment the game is ~50% done. A lot of time was spent on rendering animations. And since I have only one computer, rendering slows down the process of working on the game a lot. But the main thing is that the development does not stand still. As soon as I finish with animations, the process should speed up a bit. That's it for now. You can describe the processes infinitely much, but I will limit myself to only the important aspects. Greetings, everyone! I would like to share with you the current state of development of the second act of REBORN and news in general.

Here I will tell you a little about myself and the work process itself. If you're not interested, you can skip this paragraph and go straight to the news about the game itself, which is below. As you already know, I'm doing the development completely on my own. All processes (plot, framing, staging, rendering, animations, writing code, and more) I do by myself and it takes a lot of time. When I started developing the game, I had no experience in this business at all. At the moment I am combining game development with my main job, because I don't have any outside funding. The first act is entirely self-funded. I try to optimize the process and work without weekends (literally), so that the time between act releases is as short as possible. I absolutely love what I'm doing and I'm not going to stop.

Now for Act 2

The script for Act 2 is completely scripted, including dialog and all event branches. A lot of new locations were created, which also took time. Made 619 static renders of the story itself and 28 animations. Partially written code. Now in addition to all this I am working on creating full mini-games. At the moment Act 2 is ~25% complete I've also managed to improve the graphics considerably. No more graininess. I'll attach a few frames below so you can see for yourself.



I chose these shots to avoid spoilers. You will meet a lot of new characters in Act 2. They are also elaborated and have their own character and story. I am still learning and improving my skills, so you will see their growth as the game progresses. Due to constant busyness, it's hard for me to post content here often.
