Contra Spem Spero (Latin for ‘Against all hope, I hope') is a non-linear horror visual novel that blends immersive storytelling with interactive mechanics of text-based adventures.

Your car breaks down in the middle of a deserted road. Having no time to waste, you decide to continue on foot, grabbing only your journal and camera. Yet imperceptibly, the asphalt turns into soil, and you find yourself trapped in the endless night of a forest filled with things you cannot explain.. And terrifying creatures that were once human. They speak to you through the photos you take.
