SPOILER WARNING for everyone who hasnt completed the game. Hey everyone! I have been reading your feedback surrounding mid-game balancing, orange currency being tied to shield, and end-game upgrade costs. This upgrade aims to fix all of those issues by giving you different ways to get orange currency, adding a brand new currency converter, and balancing some upgrades.

• NEW: Added a market which lets you exchange some resources for others... But there are fees!
• NEW: Stats page in manual. (It may not show the correct stats for current saves, as not all were being tracked until now)
• NEW: New upgrade that lets you get orange currency while using Shrink.
• NEW: Added new visual feedback when charging Shockwave.
• NEW: Music and SFX does not longer slow down when using the time slow ability.
• NEW: Challenge name visible when playing, so youre never wondering if you entered a challenge or not.
• NEW: Time stop on hit is now toggleable. This is what some of you may have mistaken as lag on hit. Its off by default, feel free to enable it again if this is something you did enjoy.
• BALANCE: Moved shielded bullets give orange to an earlier place in the upgrade tree
• BALANCE: Lowered the cost of final currency upgrades (only for new saves, impossible to change for current saves).
• FIX: Shockwave explosion effect got stuck activated if you died while using it.
• FIX: Final cutscene stayed in slow motion if the game was beaten while using the slow ability.
• FIX: Incorrect description text in some upgrades.
• FIX: Manual wasnt shaking and changing color when entering the upgrade screen and you had something new to read.
• PERFORMANCE: Changed how collision checks are handled, which improves overall performance while in a simulation dramatically.

This update changes how saves work, and they should now be a bit more robust to updates and changes. Please let me know via Discord or the Steam forums if you have any issues with your old saves not working.

Hey everyone! Thanks a lot for playing Minutescape. I hope you're enjoying the game! I'm aware that some people found the pacing on some parts of the game a bit slow, and that there are some balancing issues near the end of the game. I am working on improving these as soon as possible, so expect a patch next week. I've also read that some players would like a bit more content, and while I can't promise when this will happen, please know I will work on that after this first balance patch. Hi everyone, I just updated the game so streamers can use OBS to record it. It also allows users to activate the Steam Overlay. If you played before, your save WILL NOT SHOW UP after this hotfix, but you can still play in the old version.

HOW TO RECOVER YOUR SAVE

In Steam, right-click Minutescape Demo. Then, click on Properties. Go to Betas, and select the branch givememysaveback. This will make you redownload the game, and your save should be back. This method will work until the next update. Thank you for your understanding.

Minutescape (Demo) 0.8 Patch Notes: Very small patch. I added one level to the red currency multilplier upgrade and a (super friendly) reminder to wishlist Minutescape before you quit the game. There is a bug where you'll temporarily see currencies you don't currently have if you are playing an older save, but nothing important should break This should be the last update for the demo. I will be focusing on making a great full game now :)

• Removed green magnet indicator as it was too distracting.
• Slow ability is now cheaper
• Balanced slow ability upgrade costs.
• Abilities now trigger immediately, and double click also triggers them.
