DEMO UPDATE 1.2

The demo has been updated (1.2)

  • Added tutorials for crouching and jumping shots.
  • Fixed the tutorial stage being too big.
  • Add more set dresses to the tutorial stage to increase the level of details.
  • Increase the level of detail in the tutorial background cube.
  • Fixed infinite bullets.
  • Added mouse sensitivity adjustment.
  • Added sound volume adjustment.
  • Added supports switching to windowed mode.
  • Turned off colliders from enemy corpses
  • Fixed an error where a Super Attack would not activate if performed immediately after a Baton Attack.
  • Added a language selection screen when first starting the app.
  • Added a screen to select how to play when the game is started for the first time.
  • Fixed an error that caused a momentary drop in frames when each effect first appeared.
  • Added tutorial for mouse and keyboard.
  • Added color accents to aid gameplay (red)
  • The door focus animation has been shortened a little.
  • The boss appearance animation has been shortened a little.
  • Added CRT effect to Sekiguchi-san.

RX10-40 DEV NEWS 01

Thank you for following the RX10-40 community! I'll be posting various updates, event participation reports, news, and more here from now on. I released the DEMO earlier than planned in November, and currently over 1,000 people have played it. I found many issues that needed to be fixed, so I'm currently working on updating the DEMO. Here are the planned fixes.

  • Add tutorials for crouching and shooting, and jumping and shooting.
  • Fix the tutorial stage being too large.
  • Add more set dressing to the tutorial stage to increase visual detail.
  • Improve or dirty up the background cubes in the tutorial stage to add more visual information.
  • Fix the bug where bullets can be infinitely picked up.
  • Lower the mouse sensitivity slightly, as it's currently too high, and eventually make it adjustable.
  • Disable the collider immediately after defeating an enemy.
  • Fix a camera error.
  • Super attack immediately after a baton attack fails. so fix it.
  • Add a language selection screen at first launch.
  • Fix a bug where effects cause a momentary frame drop the first time they appear.
I think the update period will be between December and January. Also, if there's anything that you think should be fixed, please feel free to start a thread.

September:

  • Create background variations (3 new types).
  • Implement a super attack (1 type for now, with a total of 4 types planned).
October:
  • Add mouse and keyboard support.
  • Update the trailer and screenshots.
November:
  • Update the key visual.
  • Create a demo version.
December:
  • Release the demo.
  • Start marketing.
  • Begin level design work (total of 50 stages).

RX10-40 is a third-person shooter game with a tech noir worldview.






Tokyo, 2063.
AI had developed to the point where robots had taken over daily labor from humans, and some time had passed since then.
In August 2063, unexplained malfunctions began to occur frequently,
and from an industrial zone where control had been lost, a message was sent to humanity.
"Send one digitized human to the following address."
This was the first communication between AI, as an independent entity, and humanity.




Simple yet deep single player mode.
Battle focused on physical touch.
Feel the thrill of destroying your enemies.




Enjoy intense local versus mode with friends and family.
The battle, which takes place on a single screen with left and right screen splitting, creates a nostalgic frenzy.
(This is also possible with Steam Deck by connecting a USB gamepad.)




Optimization is underway with the Steam Deck LCD model as the target device.
