PunchBots is a game for up to 4 players. Compete with your friends while you play on the couch or practice against bots.

You can play with a keyboard and controller is easy to learn like no other game.

Among the Main Features Are:

  • 6 different areas to choose from where you can face your friends with a total of 18 different arenas.

  • Different power ups that you will find during the gameplay (rocket fists, extra speed, double fists, others)

Upgrade 1.3.0 "USB"

After a long, long time, a new update arrived!\nHi everyone, I\'m GhostDev and I\'m here to tell you about the new improvements and additions in this upgrade.\n\n

Games modes

First, two new game modes were added: team deathmatch, which is fairly self-explanatory, and hook shot, a mode where players have to fight for control of a ball and throw it into hoops by jumping with the ball; the first to make 5 baskets wins.\n\nAdding these modes and preparing for future additions required some internal changes to the game\'s organization. Mode and arena selection now occur before player selection, resulting in a smoother gameflow.\n[img src=\"https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/42678059/351cab732c88deb85bb8875c2b81392357131ac8.gif\"][/img]\n

Gameplay improvements

I had already begun experimenting with new map aspect ratios and camera sizes in the previous version, and with this update I\'ve further improved it, providing a better 16:9 aspect ratio.\n\nThis allows for more space for fights and adjustments in virtually all arenas, along with their respective UI and visual element tweaks.\n\nSeveral new sounds were also added to enhance interactions. A demo will also be available in the coming days; it will only have one arena and the classic mode.\n\nFinally, new Steam achievements were also added.\n\n[img src=\"https://cdn.cloudflare.steamstatic.com/steamcommunity/public/images/clans/42678059/eedebb83c7e2c44261e489609d427fb3972b5cb0.gif\"][/img]

Optimization

In terms of performance, the game should continue to run as well as it has until now despite adding and making important internal changes, but one of the biggest changes is the disk size, reducing it by more than 100MB (it\'s not a heavy game, but this change means a 20% reduction in size).\n\n

Future

As I mentioned before, this is a simple, personal project that I update in my spare time, so you can expect new modes and things in the future, but it will take time.

Beacon of neyda Its now officially available on Steam.

In case you didn\'t know Beacon of Neyda is our side-scroller micro-strategy game where you survive waves of enemies while creating your base and exploring a post-apocalyptic world to uncover its history and save humanity.

Inspired by the gameplay of the Kingdom game series and Until We Die, among others, Beacon of Neyda combines vertical exploration and free building, making it not only a tower defense game but also a survival action game.

The game has different regional pricing. And it can be found on Xbox consoles too.

Upgrade 1.2.1 "Keyboard"

This is a small update covering some changes that were requested or reported, please join our Discord community to leave your requests or bug reports.

- Added a new FPS control option in the options menu.
(This should fix performance issues with high refresh rate monitors)

- Possible fix for Steam overlay. Following this line, a fix was also added for the Steam achievement that should work with any type of game mode.

- UI fixes to improve understanding.

- Upon request, the possibility of up to 4 players with a single keyboard was added. When selecting players, by pressing C on the keyboard you will be able to see the different controls.
(this solution should be temporary, a key rewrite option will be added in the future).

We launched the game!

After a long, long time, a new update arrived and with it an "official" release of the game. Hi everyone, I'm GhostDev and I'm here to tell you about this game that I've been updating over some free weekends since it's a project I've been working on alone.

Games modes

Initially there was only one game mode, a basic fighting system where the winner was the one who achieved 3 victories.

With this update two more game modes are added, "one punch" is a fast game mode where you defeat the opponents with a single blow.

I also added Crown Attack, in this mode you have to get the crown and survive a total of 30 seconds that are cumulative to win. Again the final winner is announced after winning 3 victories.

Gameplay improvements

Visually, minor tweaks were made to the visual effects, and new music tracks and a couple of extra sound effects were added. The camera system was also modified to be less rigid and allow for a bit more dynamism in combat.

As for visual feedback, now when grabbing a power-up the icon for it appears on the HUD along with the health of the player who grabbed it. Each icon is self-explanatory and gives the player better feedback on what power-up they grabbed.

Miscellaneous

A credits section has been added to the options menu and a special thanks to our patreons, although the support is for a different project and even though I worked on this in my free time, I feel obliged to thank them anyway.

I added a basic recognition input system, allowing the UI to be adjusted to show keyboard or controller buttons which allows for a better understanding of the UI in menus.

Component security update and optimization, I recommend using Windows 10 onwards for best performance.



And that's all for now, I know it's not much but practically all my time is focused on finishing Beacon of Neyda, so it's difficult to move forward on more personal and smaller projects, This version will remain free for a few weeks before becoming paid, so I encourage you to have it in your account before that happens.
