Hello Test Subjects! I have uploaded a new set of Binary Files for Linux and Mac OSs. It should download automatically, and this should solve the issue for those who can't play after selecting a chapter in the main menu. I obtained these binary files directly from users. So it should work now, hopefully, for all. Should problem persists, please take a look at this video by Yuma Billion. It's aimed for Mac users. But it is relatively the same steps for Linux. Thanks!

As we believe that their policy has the best interest in mind for the content creators and us. You can learn about Valve's Video Policy here. The short version is, Aperture Tag permits video creators to monetize their videos relating to Aperture Tag via YouTube's partners program or similar.

You can open in Hammer (Source World Editor) all the maps that make Aperture Tag and learn how Aperture Tag was done. You can now make your own Levels for Aperture Tag in the Hammer World Editor tool and using the very same instances I used to create the game. Do you think the paint gun could use some editing? Today there is a new update. -Added a song that was missing from the aperture Tag Soundtrack folder. Today I have a small update for Aperture Tag. - We updated some tube rides to be 50% faster. Increasing the speed from 400 to 600. - Changed the Paint Fizzlers signage litghing in the Workshop so that it's dimmer and more noticable. Sorry, but no updates to transaltion files. I am still waiting for news on that. Will include them as soon as possible.

Added spanish localized files. More localization files will be added later on as soon as the Translators at translation.steampowered.com finish them. This update should not affect any save files you have.

We have a date in mind for release; July 15th! We are working hard on testing and finishing the very last details of the mod in preparation for release. There is also a new article on PCGamingWiki which will list solutions to any possible errors you may have. To prepare for release, make sure you own Portal 2 on Steam (Else, steam won't let you buy Aperture Tag). Then make sure you have Portal 2 installed. If you have some mods installed, it's possible they may break certain aspects of Aperture Tag, so I also recommend doing a 'verify integrity' check on Portal 2. The strings for the game have been out for translation since Wednesday! if you want to help translate, be sure to head over to the Steam Translation Server and help out there! I will be adding the new translations as they arrive and also update the store page to let you guys know which languages have been added to the game. http://translation.steampowered.com/ About Coop. Coop is hard to make. Specifically, without access to any of the source code and when everything is done via hammer. Heck even less than hammer as the level editor has to preload instances which makes matters extra difficult. The current state of Coop is that it's playable, and its fun, but it is not as polished as I would have wanted to. There is bug which makes it so that sometimes your paint gun works and other times it wont work properly, and it seems to be compeltely random, so when playing Workshop Coop maps, you may need to click multiple times until you get your gel. I will keep on trying to solve this issue, but rest assured, the coop area of the game is still playable. And remember we are all on the same boat! I also can't wait for release! Hello Test Subjects! Many people have beein wondering when the game will come out. These past few months we've been working full time to have the game ready as soon as possible. The game will be released in July, but we don't have a fixed date yet, so it could be available at any time in the coming weeks. There is still quite a bit of work to be done, so we cannot accurately predict exactly how long it will take. If you read carefully, then you might have already noticed the word 'purchase' on the Store Page. Aperture Tag will be available for $6.99 (or your regional equivalent) and it will have a release discount for a week of 30%. We have been in direct contact with Valve, and they are allowing us to sell the mod with the Portal license. If you are a member of the press and would like to write a review of the game, then I urge you to contact me at 'aperturetag@gmail.com'. To confirm you are of the press, I will need you to send an email from the address for which you work and provide an article / video to a review you have done. For example, if you work at Kotaku, then I'd expect to get an email from 'example@kotaku.com' and also get a link to a game review where it says for example 'Dota 2 Review by Example'. I am new at releasing a game, and I don't know how many replies I will obtain but I will do my best to reply to as many as I can over this following week. You will not obtain a key immediately, instead I will add your details to a personal list I have and send emails with further info (and beta keys) when the game is ready for review. Hello Test Subjects! Thank you for your interest in participating in Aperture Tag. It is in the team's interest to reach as big of an audience as we can, which is why we do plan on providing translations for the menus and the subtitles in game. Audio won't be translated, as it would mean over 10 times new lines, a whole lot of testing and time. We still have strings being added in (Developer commentary) and need to tackle some strings that aren't being translated (In game hints). Because I speak spanish as a native language, it was handy for me to translate the game to spanish and test the translations and learn what to expect. The reason why the only languages listed on the store are English and Spanish, is because I only select the features that I know for sure will be available. As I recieve later on more transaltions, I will be adding in those languages to the store for you to see. This is the same with release date, price if applicable, etc. When I know for sure, I will update the store page to reflect that information.
