Were incredibly excited (and honestly a bit nervous) to finally share Phantomware 0 with you the first step into a story weve been quietly building, glitch by glitch, piece by broken piece.

What is Phantomware 0?

Phantomware 0 is a short, narrative-driven psychological horror game set in a corrupted digital space where memory, guilt, and identity are falling apart.

You play as an unnamed figure inside a haunted machine, uncovering fragments of a larger story buried in the static. Its glitchy. Its personal. And its meant to leave a mark even if it doesnt shout to get your attention.

This is Chapter 0 a standalone prologue. Yes, its short, but its designed to be unsettling in a quiet, creeping way. The kind of horror that lingers.

Why We Made This

Weve always loved horror that doesnt rely on loud scares or cheap tricks. Horror thats subtle. Introspective. The kind that unsettles you without fully explaining why.

With Phantomware 0, we wanted to explore the feeling of being lost inside something broken a machine, a memory, a version of yourself. Its about systems that fail you. About ghosts that arent dead, just forgotten. About not knowing whether what youre seeing is the glitch or the truth.

"Veldarune" is an exciting base-building and creature-collecting adventure set in a world teetering on the brink of destruction. The once-strong magical barrier protecting a peaceful kingdom is weakening, and dangerous monsters are closing in. Only one hope remains: You—the Tamer, summoned from another world with the unique ability to bond with powerful creatures and turn the tide in this desperate battle.

Defend Your Kingdom: During the day, gather resources, build and upgrade your base, and prepare for the nightly onslaught of monsters. You'll need a strong foundation and smart strategies to survive the attacks.
Tame Creatures: Venture into the wild, where you'll find all sorts of incredible creatures roaming the forests. But it’s not enough to just find them—you’ll need to earn their trust and bond with them, unlocking their potential to fight alongside you.
Heal and Protect: As a healer, your role is more than just fighting. While your creatures battle the monsters, you’ll use your healing powers to keep them alive, making sure your defenses hold strong through each night.
