After weeks of messing with code and learning optimization I've got GutBuster v1.1 ready. Here's what's added:
- Optimized performance to run better on lower-powered devices. Bugs and memory leaks should be taken care of. Game should run faster.
- Option added to toggle visible hitboxes for the player, targets and bullets to assist with clarity.
- 3D food model animations have been tweaked and rotated to more accurately display the width of the target.
- Stage backgrounds have been altered to have deeper colors for better contrast.
- Cutscene Replay Button added to the between-level menu. Now you can rewatch the scene if you missed it!
- Tips On/Off Switch added to the menu, giving you the ability to turn the random tip scenes on and off.
- All of the sections in the Theater Mode have been updated to be used with buttons, and can be operated via keyboard, mouse, or controller. No more awkward cycling through the galleries one at a time!
- Gallery now has a thumbnail list for easier browsing.
- New art added to Art Gallery, including art that must be unlocked via completing achievements.
- Music Test now has a selection list.
- Cutscene Player has three selection lists for Winning scenes, Losing scenes, and Tip Scenes. You can stop a playing scene by selecting/opening one of the lists.
- Effects Animations and 3D Model galleries have button lists.

Rebbecca Valentine is a raccoon with quite the appetite. This game takes place in the corrupt, poorly run company that is her stomach. You play as a lowly worker cell, and perform the dangerous duty of breaking up the food Rebbecca eats with your acid blaster. Keep up with Rebbecca's eating habits, as this is supposed to be an iron stomach, and your Boss expects results--and she's not gonna be happy if you fail and make Rebbecca sick!
Hunger Pangs!! Bust a Gut, Bros!
GutBuster is a classic arcade-style shooter, with hand-drawn animations and satirical comedy about corporate greed, the digestive system, and erotic gluttony. Controls are simple: just run, while the gun shoots upwards automatically! Run and use your dodge-roll ability to avoid the food targets as you blast, so you don't get crushed! This is a challenging, yet casual game where you can continue as many times as you want. Accessibility options are available if you want to make it easier, or just want to see the story.
It's 'Zyme Time!
Bust open Enzymes to acquire one of five different Power-Ups to help you fight harder and get bonuses. Bust'em up quickly with the Bile Blaster! Use Tri-Glycerides to spread out your shot! Use the power of thirst to slow down targets with Osmosis! Protect yourself and counterattack with the spiny Cell Wall! Or make yourself rich with the outpouring of lipids from a Hormone Spike!
Fatten Your Wallet, Too!
Collect lipids, then spend them at the shop to upgrade your blaster, make power-ups last longer, increase the appearance of lipids and enzymes, or even divide yourself for extra lives, and increase your odds of survival in this escalating challenge through 40 fattening levels, as the difficulty increases along with Rebbecca's weight!
Help Rebbecca to overcome any eating challenge, and don't give her indigestion!
