Hello again, Tank Lovers! Its your jazzy buddy Axbert, sliding in to drop a smooth little update full of mystery, sparkle, and absolutely no sandwiches pretending to be fish. Nope. Nothing like that in here. Definitely not. Anyway! Lets check out whats new in version 1.0.6:

New Stuff! Just Added! Totally Fresh!

Seahorses Have Arrived! Thats rightseahorses are now a thing! Theyre here, theyre weird, and they swim like pipe cleaners caught in a current. Put them in your tank. Love them. Pretend theyre dragons. Crystal Decorations Four Sizes of Sparkly, Tank-Friendly Awesomeness! Weve added brand-new crystal decor to the game! Four sizes, ranging from hmm thats neat to wow thats borderline geological. Decorate responsibly. Or irresponsibly. Im not your boss. Limited-Time Fish Appearances! Support for seasonal fish has been added! One will show up in the shop around the end of July. What is it? Why is it? Should you be afraid? No comment. Dont ask again. New Song: Aquarium on the Jazz Nobody asked for it. I made it anyway. Its jazzy, its moody, it pairs well with reflective fish and neon lights. A New Ultra-Rare Catch in the Fishing Minigame Something has been added to the waters. It is not a fish. It is not exciting. It is not influenced by your luck stat. In fact, luck means absolutely nothing here. It might not even exist. Or maybe it does. Either way, you wont find it. Probably. Maybe.

Bug Fixes & Improvements

Fixed Achievement Tracking for Seaweed, make sushi The seaweed counter wasnt resetting when counting the seaweed, so you'd unlock it 5 minutes after adding one piece of seaweed. Now it resets like a good little variable. For those of you who got this achievement accidentally, I'll let you keep it. Koi Now Catchable in Pond Fishing The koi union refused to be caught before. So I brought them in for a stern HR meeting. Theyve agreed to participate in the fishing minigame now. (After several donuts and a mild threat to revoke their decorative privileges.) Removed Unused Outline Scripts from Fish Eyes & Mouths These were doing a whole lotta nothing and hogging space. Gone. Your tank runs smoother now and your fish blink 7% more confidently. Fixed Hat Outlines Getting Clipped by Selection Indicator Your stylish fish friends were suffering from hat embarrassment. Weve upgraded the outline system so hats now render in all their fabulous glory, even when selected. Removed Herobrine. Thats it for now, friends. Fixed UI Cutoff in Fishing Minigame (Wiiiiiide Relief) If youre playing on a gloriously wide monitor, you mightve noticed the fishing minigame rudely hiding critical UI behind some black bars. Thats now been reined in. You can see all your buttons again. Cast away with confidence! Smooth Wake-Ups for Sleepy Fish Before: Sleep particles just vanished like bad vibes. Now: They gently fade out when your fish wake upbecause nobody wants a sudden awakening!

Quality-of-Life, Tank Tech & Tiny Joys

Zoom & Pan Controls! You can now zoom in and out of your tank using the scroll wheel (or up/down on a D-pad), and it zooms right into wherever your cursor is pointing. Oh, and you can pan around the same way. Go ahead. Frame your tank like a gallery piece. Get cinematic. Too Big Message Clarified (With Words!) Until now, when you tried to place an item or fish that was too big for your tank, you got an icon of a giant tree or whale. Which was funny! But confusing. Now, weve harnessed the power of WORDS to give you a polite nudge: Too big. Thats it. Thats the message. Use it wisely. Adult Fish Chill Out at Mealtime Adult fish now only have a 25% chance to go for food when it drops in. That means your baby fish have a better shot at snacking and growing up without being out-competed by their older tank-mates. Small fish, big dreams!

Ice Water Fancyfied

Ice Water, But Make It Premium Our ice water material has been upgraded to have more animated flow, because come on If youre putting your fish in ice, it better look like it came from a fancy glacier or the inside of a million-dollar watch. Were talking high-thread-count, crystal-chilled, ultra-bougie iceberg vibes. Only the chillest for your gill friends.

New Unlockable Decor

Diver Helmet Breed a black angelfish to unlock this classic deep-sea accessory! Perfect for mystery. Perfect for storytelling. Also makes your tank 47% more lost treasure adventure themed. Bug Fixes

Decor XP Bug Squashed! Okay, this one was a real slippery little eel: Decor items with tiny XP boosts (less than 1.0) werent giving you any XP. Like, zero. Zip. Nada. You could put ten 0.1 XP items in your tank and still get... NOTHING. Turns out the math was rounding down so hard it forgot how numbers work. But I gave the dev a calculator and a firm splashing now your decor is finally pulling its weight! No more XP ghosting! Let the tiniest trinkets help your fish grow into majestic splash-lords!

New Stuff!

Sombrero Time! Thats right! Theres a new hat in the random fish fashion pool, and its a sombrero! Fish may now randomly don this fabulous festive headgear while swimming stylishly about. But wait, theres more... Limited-Time Sombrero Duck!! Now through the end of the month, keep an eye out for the rubber duck wearing a sombrero in the decor shop it's a limited-time decor item to spice up your tank! After that, itll go back into the vault until Cinco de Mayo next year. Collect it while its hot (and before the duck flies off into the sunset)! New Unlockable Decor Sea Anemone! A beautiful, wobbly sea anemone is now available to unlock! How? Just breed a light orange clownfish yep, the cute wiggly ones and the anemone will appear in your decor catalog! The tanks are clean, the fish are floppin, and the decorations are looking chefs kiss! Im so excited to finally welcome you into our cozy, bubbly little world. Patch 1.0.3 Achievement Bubbles Unstuck!

So heres the scoop from the bottom of the tank: Steam Achievements werent bubbling up properly in the release build. They worked perfectly in the editorwhere everythings sunshine and snaxbut in the wild? Nope. Flatline. It was like trying to throw a party with no balloons! Turns out our beloved dev forgot to configure the Steam package correctly for the build. Whoopsie-daisy! I gave them a stern splash and a soggy note that said Test your builds, silly! But the fix is in, and now:

Whats Fixed:

• Steam Achievements now properly unlock in the full release build! Already met the requirements? Just boot up the game and pop, they should appear like magic!

One More Thing:

Some achievements or stats that should have unlocked before this patch might not retroactively update. Our dev is super sorry about that! They were just so excited for launch, they missed a tinybut very splashydetail. You may need to meet the criteria again to unlock a few things.
